Últimamente cada que voy los precios están ridículamente altos y ahí menos cajeros. Definitivamente mis compras en esta tienda serán limitadas.

Everytime i come here i always check for expiration dates. The fruit & vegetables are always about to expire or already expired. The bell peppers that come wrapped all had some kind of white mold at the top. The garlic had some brown/green mold. The tostadas all expired on may 5,2022( i was there today may 9,2022.) I even asked an employee about the dates & all he said was that it did expire & walked away. Mostly everything here is moldy. It is sad that this is what they sell to our people. Ill rather pay a little more & go to La Vallarta Supermarket. I'm glad they at least got rid of the rotten smell coming from the store

This Northgate is one of the best. Their bread, fresh juices, and hot goods are amazing I haven't had a chance to try the soup bar yet but it is in my list. It is also one of the few places I have ever seen selling fresh garbanzo beans.

My daughters and I have been going for the last five years. It has a lot of good things and it reminds me of our country. But for some reason for the past year or two some of the staff have been rude, unfriendly and disrespectful. I've witness people having a hard time almost in every department, even the employees that collect the carts outside. And I have also had my share of bad experiences. Like my daughters just went to buy some groceries a week ago. One of them need to use the restroom. But they had never used it before they didn't know that it had a coded door. So, my eldest daughter went to ask for the code. As she came out from the hallway there were two employees at the flower department. So my daughter asked for the code and the employee only made a gesture with her hand and left my daughter standing there. So she waited thinking she was going to ask for the code. When the employee finally came back she just went by my daughter towards the restroom without saying anything. So my daughter followed her thinking that she was going to open it. When my daughter got to where the restroom was the employee was talking to a male employee. Finally the female employee asked the male if he was going to clean the restroom and he said yes. So the female employee turns around and tells my daughter that the restroom was going to be clean. When my daughter herd that she just let them know that it would have to be after she finished using it because she had an emergency. At this time the female employee couldn't say anything and finally my daughter got to use the restroom. My daughters and I have been going through stuff like this by employees at this facility. Personally I deal with the flower lady. I don't know her name but she's tall with a bun on the top of her head. I use to buy flowers about every two weeks for my santos. And almost every time I would go she's was there. Sometimes she would be putting new flowers on the stand and I would want to take the fresher ones and she would literally wait for me to get from the older bunch before taking out the new flowers. Or she would just walk away until I leave. So with time I just stopped buying flowers from there and ignored the lady. I still go there because it's the closest grocery store I have. But to this day I am trying to ignore this person every time I go but after what happened with my girls I decided to do this. And next time something like this happens to my daughters or me I will go and make an official complaint. Please educate your employees. It seems they need more training in customer service skills and how to be respectful even if they have a personal opinion on some of your regular customers. Even though there is more things I have experience I don't think I have enough room to write about them.

Wow! I've been paying $6-$11 for fresh squeezed juice at other places and these ready made fresh juices were only $2.99 and exactly what I needed. Not every northgate has the same products but this one always blows me away whenever I go! I have to go back just to get more juice! Thanks!

My go-to market for Hispanic food products. Selection is good. Produce is always fresh at best prices. There's in-house bakery and kitchen offering authentic Hispanic baked goods and dishes. The meat department offers a variety of pork beef and poultry products. This market is very busy and plenty of traffic around the parking lot.

I decided to give their prepared food a try today and I was disappointed in their quality and taste. Their hatch chili and cheese tamale was almost all masa and their beans and rice also lacked flavor and seasoning. Their tamales were 2 for $4.00. I purchased 4 and a small plate of rice and beans and paid almost $20.00. The small plate of rice and beans cost more than the tamales and it was just a small serving. What a ripoff; I will not be returning or recommending

Rotten chicken! I bought this last night. I noticed a nasty smell coming from my fridge and I didn't think it was the chicken because it was "new" and it wasn't even expanded or gave signs of it being rotten. Once I opened it to make dinner, the smell almost made me throw up. It's like whatever doesn't sell they just put new stickers. Or idk wtf but I've never experienced such thing. First and last time I come. Pls don't eat their meat/poultry, they have zero standards.

I stopped by to grab a couple items by the hot bar, I observed cross contamination and staff not wearing gloves handling hot food orders to go. There was a two staff workers that I noticed that used the SAME blue gloves that they were already using to move carts and other non food kitchen equipment to help customers when they ordered a hot food to go items (NOT CHANGING THEIR GLOVES) for example pozole and menudo and also champurrado. It is VERY IMPORTANT to use disposable gloves AND CHANGE GLOVES EVERY TIME when handling food for customer because otherwise is non sanitary and cross contamination occurs!!!

Shit job at making sure customers feel safe . Workers not wearing gloves while dealing with food . Masks are not enforced . No sanitizing . Very unsafe conditions to walk in .

Get their vampiro juice it is good to help cleanse your body. Also their pina agua fresca is really good. The prices are cheap for produce so come here. I don't typically buy any other groceries here but the vegies and fruits. Also come here a lot for their tamales, pozole rojo and their barbacoa. I believe that their deli is the better ones compared to any other grocery store chain

I just moved to the city of Norwalk and it was my 3rd time coming here. My son has Autism and as we are checking out this man that does the " bagging" YELLS IN MY 2 year olds face to STOPPPPP!!!! Crying. my son wanted out the cart Immediately from feeling unsafe and getting yelled at. so I got him out the cart and asked the man. What did you say to him? and he said what? It's kinda a bit much. you as a grown man should never YELL at a child autistic or not!!! The fact that u scream in the face is so wrong!! You should be fired. Francisco is what his name was from what the store manager told me. I for sure don't feel safe going here. This guy should not be working around people. be kind to these little humans u never know what they are dealing with.

We love to go here for their breads and ceviche (my favorite is the spicy mango ceviche ...but they usually run out of it fast). Their produce looks good and they've been bringing some good local and organic items as well. I haven't tried their food personally but have heard from friends their food is good. They sell fresh guacamole and shrimp cocktails and they have a juice bar.

Driving around Norwalk today i thought, great day to stop by northgate market and get lunch. As I approached the door I was stopped by one of their employees who pointed towards the line of about 30 people waiting to enter. I get it we are in covid mode. I said I'm not here to shope I'm here for lunch. He looked at me and once again pointed to the line. Now I don't blame him as he us following instructions. What is the store manager thinking. Some people are only allowed a 30 minute lunch break , 60 if you're lucky. Well lucky for me there are lots of other choices. So keep on making bad ones northgate and keep on losing customers.
