This is a review of a change in BevMo's corporate policy on refunds. When I joined BevMo a few years ago, discounts were provided at the time of check-out, as per Whole Foods, Safeway, etc. Recently, I noticed (4/3/24) and confirmed (5/4/24) that BevMo now provides the discount on a receipt that must be brought back within 2 weeks for $10 off the next purchase. This is standard policy for businesses that are money grubbing and exploit customers. I have to store my receipts, remember to bring with me when I shop again, and do this within 2 weeks. The clear intent is to greatly reduce the amount of discounts provided to customers. I do not do shop at such businesses, will not shop at BevMo until it returns to the original policy, and encourage all to avoid BevMo.

Come here if you want to waste gas and bridge toll for a bottle they said they had but didn’t smh. Then tell me Total Wine have it in stock 13 miles back the way I came.

Went in store to pick something up. The one visible employer at the checkout stand was glued to her phone and didn't even bother to look up or greet me. No big deal. I couldn't find what I was looking for. When I approached same employee, she was still glued to her phone, barely looked up when I asked my question and swiftly replied "if you didn't see it, we don't have it" and immediately returned to her phone. What happened to customer service?

Hi I,m an 84 year old male. I was told I had to produce an ID.The clerk then swiped the ID. I told him I did not like the idea of my DMV info going to an unknown site. It was a cash transaction. Why do you demand my ID? Where did the info go ? Not happy. Jean D.

We had BevMo deliver liquor, wine, beer, water, and ice for our wedding. Jay walked us through the ordering process, quickly pulled stock from other BevMos close by to get exactly what we were looking for, accommodated last minute changes, and was exactly on time with the delivery. He was prompt and communicative, and we never felt he was overselling us or trying to get us to buy more than we needed.

Good selection of spirits, wine and beer at a reasonable price. Representatives are knowledgeable and helpful. If you have been in one BevMo then you have been in most if not all of them as it is a chain store.
