My daughter and I love to recycle our clothes and purchase new clothes at Goodwill and thrift stores like it! We donate all the time and support the store by making purchases. With that said, the price increases have gotten way out of control in my opinion. Goodwill please consider that everything you sell you get for free, so charging similar prices to brand new clothing from target or old navy or even stores having a sale is just wrong! Low income families need to be able to afford your items and every time I go in it seems the costs goes up and up! $15 for used jeans donated to you is just to much! I remember get a huge bag a clothes for $15 total not just for 1 item. I'm going to donate my items elsewhere and take my business elsewhere if Goodwill continues to raise their prices. My teenage daughter spends her babysitting money there and can no longer afford hardly anything she's finding! Do better for the people giving to your company and for your local community struggling to afford rising costs of living in Marin! Also PLEASE open the dressing rooms! PLEASE remind staff to be kind to its shoppers!

Google posts donation hours as 9-6PM daily, though sometimes their signage for that day lists 4:30PM. I arrived at 4:15PM and was turned away just as they were beginning to shut down. They could have been flexible, but refused. Other donors were also turned away. No reason given, accept "we are just following orders." They were argumentative and oblivious to the fact that some donors travel a long distance. I am donating to Salvation Army from now on.

I came to drop off some new shoes, housewares and clothing. Since it was heavy I pulled up next to the curb. I was then scolded by the collection attendant for making it harder for those parked in spaces to leave. However, there was nobody leaving and he was unapologetic for being a j**** I guess I will give my goods to a charity who can show simply politeness.

Clean but expensive for a Goodwill. Sometimes the items cost more than in the original store

The staff here when you donate are so incredibly rude. I’ve never met such rude staff in my life. One staff member actually swore at my husband. I went the next day to donate more stuff, they were closed early. I asked why and he was just awful, told me it was my personal problem that I was moving the next day and called me “baby” in a condescending way. Never again would I ever donate at this place

Lazy and rude staff! When you donate, they want you to sort everything out. In top of they are making money out your stuff. They want donors to their job!

Not very friendly people. Almost as if they're doing you a favor by accepting good quality stuff. And maybe they are, but it's supposed to be mutually beneficial, right? They're in the business of helping people, which relies on getting good and marketable donations from the general public. No need to be rude about not taking furniture anymore. I mean, what's the point? I, for one, won't be donating to that place again.

It's beyond time to open the dressing rooms. My local Goodwill remains the only clothing store in the area that insists on keeping their dressing rooms closed. This fact, combined with their "no refunds" policy is a HUGE barrier to making purchases. I can't tell you how many times I declined to purchase something I liked because I didn't want to be stuck with a poor-fitting item. I often see customers trying on clothes in the aisles as well. This is super uncomfortable for everyone but they are left with no choice! My sense is that this is no longer about covid but as a convenience to the business not wanting to deal with managing the clean up or shoplifting risks of allowing people to try on clothing. Let's put the customers first again and please re-open your dressing rooms asap.
