Just use CVS, seriously. Huge wait times and bad customer service. You will be on hold for at least 20 minutes for anything. The automated systems never work.

Marcelli who works in the pharmacy is the most unprofessional person I have had to interact with in a very long time. I called with general questions and she let me know she was just starting her 12 hour shift and I was stressing her out and told me to call back the next day and hung up on me. I went to the pharmacy and she was talking about me loudly to her co worker saying I was so rude and I just needed to wait two days for my medication. She didn't realize I was standing there listening until I spoke up and said I'm the person your taking about and she yelled at me, over other customers saying again that I was rude. I honestly went off at that point. She didn't know what rude was until she thought she could hang up on me and then I find her talking about me like that! It was a very upsetting experience and Marcelli had no idea what I was dealing with personally. She works in the medical field. She should be more careful with how she handles people because most likely the people she is interacting with are sick and need help. She is just concerned that she has a 12 hour shift ahead of her and my questions were stressing her out. I called the next day and spoke with her manager Princess. She took the time to listen to my entire experience and then responded with "ok, we'll you can call 1-800-rite aid if you want to put in a complaint. I could not believe her response! So, I had to ask for her supervisors info. I spoke with Ta, and she listened to me and made me feel genuinely heard. Marcelli and Princess both need customer service training, stress management classes and need to get off of their power trip. One more incident with Marcelli. Months before my incident, I was in line and a man was in front of me picking up his prescription. I assume he had a hearing problem because Marcelli let everyone in line know he was picking up a prescription for chlamydia. Poor guy, I couldn't believe she was being so loud. Everyone in line just looked at each other like wow. I even went home and told my family how uncomfortable it made everyone in line. Marcelli,Princess and another associate that was there is the reason I will never even go into another Rite Aid, I will not spend my money in an institution that employs people in charge of something as important as medicine and be treated the way I was and have seen others be treated. Do better Rite Aid. And you should be ashamed of yourself Marcelli, your co-worker and Princess.Take a customer service refresher training, take a vacation...just do better all around because not only are you horrible pharmacists, you seem like you're very unhappy in life and you bring that energy to work. Sorry I'm the one who had to call you out on it. But it needed to be said.

Been sent pillar to post to get kids a COVID booster. Arrive with all forms filled after having phoned ahead and been told "any time before 6pm." But no... "I'm going to go for lunch now." You couldn't just do the shot and then lunch? All the admin was done!!!

What a wonderful staff. They are short staffed, have an influx of scheduled and from 2-3 walk-in Covid booster vaccinations. Clearly they are overwhelmed. They took us because we had called yesterday and they were troopers to honor that!!!

This place is really hit or miss. I recently came here to pick up a prescription and was wandering around while waiting. The shelves looked surprisingly empty, but I still ended up with a ton more stuff then planned and it was like deals on deals in there! The man at the register was so friendly that it made the whole experience so pleasant. For example, before I could enter my card he even paused the transaction to say it didn't look like it registered my phone number and we had some issues with the card reader but he was so apologetic and patient! Fast forward two days and I had the least pleasant store experience here. Like top three! I wanted to return the shampoo and conditioner I bought after I found a bunch at my parent's home. I mentioned to the woman at the register that I was hoping to return something and with no greeting, all she said was, "Why?" I heard 'what' and repeated that I was hoping to make a return. She then very shortly said, "I know! Why?" Then she accused me of using the shampoo and every time I told her that I definitely hadn't, she would tell me that I had. At this point, I'm getting a little embarrassed and ready to just take my shampoo back home and cry sadly with it in the shower but then she silently starts making the return. Not sure what's happening but then she opens the cash register (even though I paid with card) but throws all the bills and coins on the counter so I have to pick them up hastily one by one. The gentleman on the first day was a joy (like give him a promotion and put him in charge of training!) and I will undoubtedly come back because it's convenient and love the Amazon locker pick-up, but will walk right back outside if I see that woman running the register.

I started to pick my scripts up here around a year ago and I think this place is CB great! They always let me know when it's time to pick up meds plus if there isn't any refills left they give me enough to hold me over! CVS was nothing like this. Great Customer service!!!

I like the Rite Aid on Diablo in Novato, alittle unfriendly at times. I do find what I'm looking ..when ever I go, this last time, I got help and I didn't get the same clerk, I had before. DISAPPOINTED, I SURVIVED IT

I really am pleasantly impressed with Rite Aid in Novato. After many years of being a CVS customer I decided I need to change. Fred the pharmacist is very pleasant and informative about all drugs I'm required to take after chemo treatment. He even knows my name just walking up to the counter. Thanks Fred and the rest of the pharmacy staff. Steve R. Novato.

The staff in this store (only this one) are incredibly rude and racist. Two times in the past week my husband has been singled out by security. My husband is a big black man, he is the kindest person I know. He doesn't deserve to be treated disrespectfully. I will be contacting corporate first thing in the morning. This store is horrible with never shop there again.

I was told my med was out of stock and they won't be able to reorder it. Called today to beg them for help, and Joe in RX had already made calls and found a new source. YAY I get to stay with them. So happy, these guys are great. P.S. the other day my doctor had twisted my last name on the prescription. Costco would have denied it and made me get a new one. Since I had been a customer there for awhile, just checked my ID and made sure of D.O.B. and CDL# as well as my address. No freaking problem! Plus they are there later and you can get your RX after 7pm. Unlike Costco, whose parking lot offers free dents to your car doors. These folks are good, quick and very nice. They know their stuff so ask questions if you are not sure about something. Be well. They offer lost cost flu shots too.

This one is for the pharmacy. THANK YOU FOR GETTING RID IF BRIAN! He was cruel, judgements, provided information contradictory to the law (and, folks we are talking about non-habit forming medications, he was THE ONLY ONE WHO WOULD LEAVE YOU ON HOLD FOR 5 minutes and come back with stories about your rx was cut off in the fax (and yes, I called my physician who said "fax, I called it in". This was him-difficult and cruel. Between myself and insurance my total rx expenses at one time were running nearly 40k annually and this type of treatment was uncalled for regardless how much I did or did not spend! The rest of the team: Princess, Joe, the new pharmacist (super awesome and promoted my review but the pharmacists truly earned the 5 stars!). The techs are "ok". Elmer is the best. Caroline is friendly and always remembers what you need. Now, Robert/Bob...I think Brian trained him. His first response after taking 1 year to get up to speed - OMG was he slow...but now he is getting this "no, can't do" mentality and I hope this review is read by the pharmacists and they discuss that he isn't working in a managerial, non-customer facing role. He is not a narcotics agent and doesn't need to get CIA on every rx. He should understand that while not all of us are pleasant especially when sick, that those who are should be treated kindly in return. I also wish he had more very basic knowledge that some rx have dual purposes or are used for off label treatment. We aren't all sick crack-heads so please "Be Kind" and practice basic customer service. Thanks to all.
