I don't know what going on with the Novato rite aide. I received three calls in the last day or two telling that my prescription was ready. when I went to pick up today, I was told it was t ready and I'd have to wait a few minutes until the pharmacist returned. why call and say it's ready? The lady behind the country was rather overwhelmed and not very agreeable. They also don't keep some meds in stock and have to order them. The isle in the store are not fully stocked and every time I mention it, I'm told they can't get enough people to unload the carts. i transferred to this store from Safeway years ago and everything was nice, the pharmacy fully stocked. I'm thinking of changing pharmacies, which I really don't want to do , as this store is close to my home.

I don't know what's happening in this store. Is the lease up? Do they not pay their employees a living wage? The store is unkempt, dirty, and the employees seem very unhappy, they don't smile or say welcome to the store, or ask if they can help. It's very bizarre. Where is everything? The shelves are almost always more than half empty. The pharmacy is a mess! Where is Princess? Why isn't she here any longer? Why are there five people working in the pharmacy, yet no one answers the phone, or returns calls? They forget to split bill, they don't get paperwork to the doctors for prior authorizations, they just keep dropping the ball. I've called corporate and had no response, so before the "business" responds with "call us" - NO, I already did that. If I order online on their website, this location never has the medications ready. Please hire more staff who are friendly and want to work here, your customers deserve better!!!

Went in and asked about moving my medication to Rite Aid. I was refused because they can't handle what they have. We have no Pharmacy in Novato. It is sad that my dog gets better care than I get!

I’m not sure what’s going on with the Rite Aid Pharmacy, I have an emergency situation. My doctor electronically sent meds to Rite Aid at 11 AM at 1 PM. I call and they said they’re not ready? And on top of that the pharmacist is going to lunch so your meds won’t be ready until 2 PM.Please hire some more staff. I’ve been using Rite Aid for many years. This has been going on for the last two years. They are very unprofessional. My advice to anyone is go anywhere else, but Rite Aid in Novato.

I go here to get all my prescriptions usually call up get them pre-ordered and pick them up with no problems and I have a lot of them Plus I can pick up my prescriptions at any Rite Aid which is nice

Worst rite aid pharmacy around, pharmacist was incredibly rude. Told me “it’s pretty early to be calling,” then when my doctor called she told him that she would not fill the prescription unless it was delivered electronically….

Just use CVS, seriously. Huge wait times and bad customer service. You will be on hold for at least 20 minutes for anything. The automated systems never work.

Marcelli who works in the pharmacy is the most unprofessional person I have had to interact with in a very long time. I called with general questions and she let me know she was just starting her 12 hour shift and I was stressing her out and told me to call back the next day and hung up on me. I went to the pharmacy and she was talking about me loudly to her co worker saying I was so rude and I just needed to wait two days for my medication. She didn't realize I was standing there listening until I spoke up and said I'm the person your taking about and she yelled at me, over other customers saying again that I was rude. I honestly went off at that point. She didn't know what rude was until she thought she could hang up on me and then I find her talking about me like that! It was a very upsetting experience and Marcelli had no idea what I was dealing with personally. She works in the medical field. She should be more careful with how she handles people because most likely the people she is interacting with are sick and need help. She is just concerned that she has a 12 hour shift ahead of her and my questions were stressing her out. I called the next day and spoke with her manager Princess. She took the time to listen to my entire experience and then responded with "ok, we'll you can call 1-800-rite aid if you want to put in a complaint. I could not believe her response! So, I had to ask for her supervisors info. I spoke with Ta, and she listened to me and made me feel genuinely heard. Marcelli and Princess both need customer service training, stress management classes and need to get off of their power trip. One more incident with Marcelli. Months before my incident, I was in line and a man was in front of me picking up his prescription. I assume he had a hearing problem because Marcelli let everyone in line know he was picking up a prescription for chlamydia. Poor guy, I couldn't believe she was being so loud. Everyone in line just looked at each other like wow. I even went home and told my family how uncomfortable it made everyone in line. Marcelli, Princess and another associate that was there is the reason I will never even go into another Rite Aid, I will not spend my money in an institution that employs people in charge of something as important as medicine and be treated the way I was and have seen others be treated. Do better Rite Aid. And you should be ashamed of yourself Marcelli,your co-worker and Princess. Take a customer service refresher training, take a vacation...just do better all around because not only are you horrible pharmacists, you seem like you're very unhappy in life and you bring that energy to work. Sorry I'm the one who had to call you out on it. But it needed to be said.

I have used various pharmacies around Novato/San Rafael and I feel the staff at the Rite Aid in Novato have been the best I have worked with - especially since our Pharmacist Princess started working there. Princess is incredibly helpful and I really trust her with my medications...even when things are busy, Princess listens to my questions and always follows up. I have found the rest of the staff friendly, and I have recently talked to a technician named Nicholas a few times now and have been really impressed with his attention to detail and willingness to help. Five stars to the Novato Rite Aid team!

I like Rite Aid due to distance to home, the store is huge, clean, but...customer service needs working on. I deal with customer, and its good to always to acknowledge customer when arriving in store, when purchasing and paying. Looking at customer face to face shows your giving all your attention to them, show you care, and always welcome them to come back as they leave and thanking them for shopping at Rite Aide. May I say not all customer service is not pleasant well only one is totally awesome forgotten his name, but I remember his description. He has blue eyes and black curly hair, young man... Thank you for your great service.

Wanted to get ice cream but they were not open so had to get Klondike ice cream cones.
