Traveled from So California to visit family. Stopped into this shop and bought earrings, a pin, a necklace, and an egg holder. All items were rung up. The man there wrapped up what I thought were my items but in reality wrapped only the egg holder. Thought I would prevent losing anything so I left my package wrapped up. After getting back to So Cal I found only the egg holder in my bag. It may seem like an honest mistake except that I went back into the store after I left. Nothing was said to me. After reading some of the reviews I feel that the omission was intentional. May try and call to get my items but I don't have much hope that it may happen.

That is one wonderful place to hunt for antique and lovely vintage. Even music there will make you dance while shopping! The store is an absolute delight.

I went there on a Saturday. The store seemed to be organized; Great Selection of trinkets. A lot of great stuff, though OVERPRICED!!! A lot of unusable things as well!!!However; . By the time I got to the cashier. I was OVERGAHRGED $30. HE says he charges 3% for paying with a Credit card, when in fact, he charges 3.5%. Lies, Lies, and more lies!!! SUCH DISHONESTY!!!He claims how some individual comes in and steals "high end items" from them! Just wondering why!?!?

I went there on a Saturday. The Store seemed rather clean and organized. Lot of great stuff, lots of unusable things as well; though OVERPRICED!!! However, by the time I got home, I realized I had been OVERCHARGED $30 on my Amex card. I am now reporting this to American Express, and The Consumer Protection Bureau!!! I know exactly what "The Owner" ( so Unprofessional!!!) did. I had canceled some of the items I'd selected, 'cause I'd found some for cheaper price! We're All trying to save some money these days, right? Well, HE NEVER TOOK THOSE OUT OF THE REST!!!I See these tactics from DISHONEST RETAILERS All The Time!!! Funny thing is; he was complaining to me, including showing me photos of some guy who'd been stealing "high end" items recently from them. Well; I'm Buddhist, I don't lie, I don't steal, I don't invent Stories, etc. My dad was military; I know The Law!!! THIS IS FILTHY KARMA!!! If someone steals from you? Does that give you the right to steal from others? NO! NOT @ALL!!! I'll never buy a thing from these THIEVES!!! Just be aware, that, better keep account of what you're buying @ this place!!!I'll NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN!!!

I shop here often and was super disappointed when I went in last week, Jan 2023. One of the store clerks, I believe her name is Jackie, was SUPER SICK, coughing, sniffling, and blowing her nose. With Covid and the RSV flu running rampant in our community, I find it inconsiderate and highly irresponsible of her to work with the public. To make matters worse! She did not even have the common courtesy to wear a mask! The man working alongside her was wearing a mask, probably because he was uncomfortable working beside her. I found a copper pot I would have purchased, but I did not want her ringing me up.

We love this place and the two ladies working there. We went to this shop after having brunch a few blocks away. We took our time walking around the store and so many beautiful items. Their antique pieces are good quality and reasonably priced. Their service was the best. The two ladies working that day were so sweet, especially to my son and his girlfriend. Thank you, we'll definitely be back !

This was my first time in the store and I was impressed with the quality of their merchandise. I spoke to Susan and Kathy and both were quite helpful and focused on customer service.

I came down from Santa Rosa today to pick up some books on hold for me at The Book Place down the street. On my way back, I stopped at Copperfield's, and when I left I saw Sentimental Journey Antiques across the street. In the past 14 months, I have stopped shopping for other than absolutely necessary essentials, but the store front looked interesting and so I went in. There were two older ladies sitting in front that starting chatting me up. There was no one else in the store that I saw. The one sitting on the right (a slim lady) immediately told me that it was OK to lower my mask so that I could breathe fresher air, and the other lady (with salt and pepper gray hair) concurred, saying that with the vaccinations we could all relax a bit. Mind you, the sign on the front door said that masks were strictly required, as well as social distancing. I thanked them, as it was a hot day, and lowered my burka to just under my nose. I then told them that my sister had gotten the Pfizer shot 13 days ago, was unable to move the morning after, and was rushed to the hospital where she spent 5 days (you won't be hearing about cases like hers on the evening news). She still cannot move, and is in constant pain now. Since she lived alone, she had no one to care for her, so they put her into assisted living. Her life is basically over. Because of this, I told them that it was highly unlikely that I'd be taking any Covid vaccines. The salt and pepper lady's face immediately changed from her previous friendly look, and she snapped at me to pull up my mask. Mind you, I had only pulled it down a bit because they both told me to. I ended up walking around the store, and the nice one showed me around a bit. The other one just glared at me. Her attitude was so unexpected and rude that, even though I found several interesting cordial glasses and signs that I wanted to purchase, the experience was so nasty that I ended up not buying anything. I almost felt as if I was set up. I came in with my nose and mouth fully covered, and did not deserve that. I thought about contacting the health department about the staff initiating the OK to violate the mask standard (which I initially thought was a friendly gesture, but was anything but), but I am not a snitch. My mother grew up under N*** rule in Germany, and I know where that leads. But believe me, I won't be doing any more shopping for fun, and in particular I will never visit this store again. At the one year mark of the Covid restrictions, 60% of American small businesses had gone out of business for good. For the remaining 40%, including this antique shop, this is not the way to treat customers.

Great little spot in Novato. Very well curated and reasonable prices. Store is more of a "mini" antique mall with a number of different vendors. This was our warmup and pregame for the re-opening of the flea markets in the Bay Area. Owners are extremely helpful and gracious. Will definitely comeback to visit. Purchased some great items!
