I had a great experience taking hot pilates with Kelly C! She was awesome. Very friendly, welcoming, the class was really good! Perfect heat! The studio was clean and Kelly was cleaning really thoroughly after class! I met some nice people, which was a bonus! Studio was in a good location with plenty of parking.

I've been coming here on and off since they opened ten years ago and recently returned after more than 2 years off my mat. In my time away I become a new mommy and worked through a series of injuries that have had their impacts on my practice. I've been through many phases of life in my years in and out of this studio, yet it remains a safe place to come back to and re-ground every time. I feel free to evolve at my own pace with breaks and modifications in classes... and the heat and humidifiers are as good as ever! I really haven't found any other studio like this.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this studio. I try to make it to a class every day, Yoga or Pilates. It's the highlight of my day! Darlene and all of the instructors are amazing. Highly recommend Some Like it Hot!

My wife is addicted to this place. I couldn't understand why but know she is always so happy and full of energy after coming home from a class led by amazing instructors. Darlene owner/operator/instructor is so great and has so much energy. I know because I recently tried it out to experience it myself. She made beginners like me feel welcome and those who are regulars kicked their butts in one of the hardest but satisfying workouts (hot Pilates). The facility is beautiful and extremely well maintained. No corners cut when it comes to cleanliness. Come early classes fill up fast. Looking forward to my next session.

Started out okay and was a place to do hot yoga near me. Ended with physical injury a few classes back (strained hamstring and partially dislocated shoulder). Told the instructor Katie about my hamstring when it happened, didn't yet realize about my shoulder. She didn't say anything at all. Not any concern. Nothing. The injury likely happened because the yoga moves we do from the near beginning of class involve deep stretches before we have adequately warmed up. Also, the heating element was broken, off and on, so we were not getting enough heat to help warm-up literally. The instructor Katie also could not make the classes inclusive, and repeatedly misgendered me, pretty much every class, even though I told her several times I am non-binary. I asked for refund on the last classes in my package after her showstopper "all women class" comment, followed by staring uncomfortably at me, and saying, "all people class." Then a few poses in, "rag doll," or (again staring uncomfortably at me) "or rag GI Joe...hee hee". When I came out to ask for the refund, she greeted me: "Hello, little lady!" I had been to the studio for long enough and corrected her gently several times. I had enough, and just asked for a refund of the rest of my package and said I would not be coming back. She smiled. This type of behavior has no place in yoga or anywhere.

It's a super clean studio with a spa-like vibe. I love love love the added humidity. Some hot yoga studios have dry heat which makes my skin feel dry. The moisture makes my skin feel great long after class too.

This spot is good for hot yoga and pilates training. Fun, hip music throughout the class and the room is HOT. You sweat so many toxins out of your body. The teachers and staff are mostly friendly. The people who workout there are an older crowd who know one another. The owner seems to be a little abrasive a times. Some days she's really nice and others she can rub me the wrong way. But hey I don't go there for her, I go there to workout! Overall I would recommend.

Just experienced another amazing hour of hot yoga practice this evening guided by Katie. I've been coming here since 2014 and it is still challenging. The studio is spacious and very clean and I always feel the love from the owner Darlene and the other fabulous instructors and Mel. The health benefits are too numerous to name, suffice to say it keeps me young in my sixties, strong, flexible and is consistently the best gift I give myself. Namaste.

I have been to several yoga studios and this is by far my favorite. I absolutely enjoy the hot yoga classes however the inferno hot pilates classes are amazing. The energy in the classes, the diversity in the exercises, the music, the support from your work out partners all contribute to an exceptional workout. The instructors are fantastic and create different routines each time to keep it fun and get that all body workout. Love they've added all the additional hot pilates classes as they are definitely making me stronger. This studio is close to my work but the classes are so great I drive over on days off just to work out. Great place!

I am sadden by your reply Darlene. U laughed at me. Your staff doesn't say nice things behind your back. Clean up your act. You didn't refund my money after creating a hell environment for me. The least you can do is to apologize. You don't know how to treat your staff and customers with respect, dignity and honesty. I did NOT take MORE than 50 classes. I was out of town and returned late May. I came to your Studio for the month of June, July and part of August. ( a month=4weeksX3=12). I took 3 classes per week. There is no way in hell that I took more than 50 classes. Do the math - (12X2+8)=31. However, as a business owner, you need to provide good review of your staff and lie to protect yourself. False advertisement is against the law. You place a sign on the door saying a QUIET room. It doesn't differentiate between the two practice (pilate & yoga ). The sign asks people to be quiet in the room not to YELL in the room. You are correct in saying there is LOUD MUSIC in the room. However, there is LOUD screaming as well. Several times I told your staff and asked not to yell loud in the class room - it is disturbing for everyone in the class - It created anxiety for me. Not only they didn't correct the situation but they cheered her (Judy) on.

Now, "Hot Pilates" several times a week here.....so more classes......more high-quality yoga at an A-1 studio.' Friendly staff....ez parking.....wonderful locker rooms.....GREAT friends and fun are what I enjoy so much here. It's a Big Little Village. Lately, I've been enjoying Meg & Jonni as instructors, among others in recent months, including Darlene (of course!), Kristin (WONDERFUL instructor) and Monica (eloquent thoughts at start of class that are VALUABLE....thank you, Monica). Meg and Jonni in specific have been my "summer camp" yoga counselors, so here's a Shout Out to them today: LOVE the music you're playing: inspiring. Thank you.

I think it's poor business practice to market and sell this "work out" (your words not mine) as yoga. Repetitive postures are great, this is why Bikram yoga amongst other studios with similar constant sequences are successful. What I find disappointing is the false advertising of this basic workout as yoga. One can cue the same postures and have enough connection to their students and body to speak cues specific to their experience and not repeat the same blah blah blah instructions in the mirror. This is drill instruction and at the very best performance art of a teacher who only needs to memorize the sequence and then the script. There's no human connection, this is not yoga.

I wanted to comment about my general LOVE for this yoga studio! I drive 35 minutes for this practice and it is well worth it. Clean studio, challenging workout, insightful and highly qualified instruction are all reasons I am a devoted member of this yoga studio. As I was reading below posts I came across the one that Jennifer K had a negative experience at check in. I was actually there during this exchange so thought I'd chime in. The gal behind the desk was not rude at all- just wanted a new visitor to have adequate time to sign in, discuss possible injuries, get settled in the locker room, etc. I hope she considers coming back!!!

Super disappointed in this yoga studio. I signed up for a 2 week trial for $20 online. I arrived 5 minutes early and was told I was late. The person the front desk - possibly the owner - was snappish and rude about me being late. I suggested they include that you need to get there earlier than 5 mins somewhere when you sign up. She cut me off and said they do. I went back and looked at my email confirming the 2 week trial and it says no where on it to show up X minutes early. I walked out and decided to forfeit the $20. It's not worth it to be treated like dirt.
