Worst ER experience ever. As soon as I came through the door Dr. Lelnta (or whatever her name is) rolled her eyes at me. I had been there a month prior due to chest pain from anxiety. Of course i didn’t want to be there either but in her eyes I was just a waste of time. One nurse was nice but the other was huffing and puffing too. Told me she dealt with anxiety but didn’t treat me as much. I tried showing the doctor a list of my symptoms and he said “I already saw” then proceeded to ask me if i felt things THAT ARE ON THE LIST. I know anxiety may be a burden to them but to us it’s very real especially when it’s a brand new symptom I have never felt before. These are the people “caring” for us. Also want to add that i couldn’t breathe and I was literally told to come back if I had problems with breathing….or if my symptoms got worse so??

Emergency room visit for a non-emergent situation on a Saturday morning. Does that mean they can sit me in a tiny room for hours without even acknowledging me? I spent two and a half hours sitting in that little room for something they could have taken care of in five minutes and they didn't even acknowledge me until I went into the hallway and started making some noise about it. After I raised a little hell they finally took care of me. I was taken care of by a male nurse who was incredibly rude, even called me a "knucklehead". This was a really awful experience for a patient needing some minor assistance.

WARNING: This place is horrible. Mexico has better healthcare and service than them.I wish I would’ve read the reviews before coming here. Like others I had a HORRIBLE experience here. First, they treated me like I was an inconvenience to them for making them have to try at their jobs, yet they put in no effort to actually care for me.Instead of immediately treating me, they spend 20 minutes asking questions. I get triaging but this lady was more concerned about making her notes look good to her boss because I think she was a new hire. I asked for some water and she said she needed to finish the notes first and then she would. I was kinda mad at that response, but was trying to give her a chance. Anyways, 20 minutes of questions later and she takes me to the room, leaves, and never comes back with water. So, I tried to get the other nurses’ attention and they all just ignored me til one lady helped me. Maybe they were busy but they were moving so sluggish that they either didn’t care or weren’t busy. Now I’ll mention some of the employees were nice and accommodating. And the some was like 1 or 2 of the 7 or so employees that I directly dealt with. The worse part is this one lady yelled at me for asking when the doctor would come in and treat me. She gave me some vague answer and told me not to call for help again. I went to the ER and she basically told me, please don’t make me do my job because I’m lazy and you are a burden to me, lay there and suffer. This made me feel less like a human. It was like I was a kid in timeout or something. This place needs to fire 90% of their employees and start over from the ground up. Of course, that’ll never happen and they’ll keep getting 1 star reviews because no one that works there obviously cares or probably even reads these.

Every time me or my loved ones come here it's a very rude experience. The only reason we come is because it's so close and less busy than Memorial or Doctors. First, we called to see how long the wait was because Memorial had told us over a 10hr wait. The lady who picked up when I called Oakdale was soooo rude about it. I explained my 7 year old is in a lot of pain and I'm just trying to get an estimate on wait time. she told me well I need to figure it out myself. Then she said it was against HIPAA. For someone who's in the medical field, telling someone a wait time is not against HIPAA? How? You're not giving out anyone's personal information or what's wrong with them? Anyways, we got here. Not busy, which I love. But we stood at the registration window for a good minute while the girls behind it were looking on their phone and ignoring us while they were laughing and looking at whatever it was. Finally she put it down and asked us what's going on today. Also, once you get in the back it's even worse. The care quality is garbage. Doesn't matter how sick you feel, they're rude and talk to you like your from the scum of the earth or something. They ask if you need anything, and apparently when you ask for a warm blanket 3 times they finally interrupt you rudely and say ma'am I heard you! Well then say something back instead of just ignoring us! Just all around always a rude experience. But whatever, it's in and out and nobody else is open this time of day. So if you're looking for quick, this is the place. Looking for manners and quality care, yeahhh prob would look at different options.

What a circus! I’ve had some time to think about this and my mindset is: I’d rather die than go to Oak Valley ER. And I mean that sincerely. If I have a stroke or infarction or (heaven forbid) get shot, I’m going to ask myself, “Can you hang in there for an extra twenty minutes?” Any of us are ten times better off getting to one of the Modesto hospitals. They triaged me wrong, then slapped the wrong person’s wrist band on me, then the doctor (after four hours of silence) treated me for nausea instead of the the two broken ribs and concussion I arrived with! If you fall off a ladder and aren’t immediately dying, I strongly suggest getting elsewhere.

My gf went here to get severe stomach pain checked which she experiences everytime she eats food, they passed her off as having stress with no medication after making her waiting 3 and a half hours and many tests later.

Very careless, doctor didnt even check heart or lungs or belly, but er notes list this. Also lists I had claimed I had eaten a sandwich from a deli shop in which I told them I hadn't eaten. Lists incorrect symptoms. Told me they had 12 patients with same condition ( HIPAA privacy?) Didnt see doc for more then 2 min was just discharged. Followed up with memorial finding my liver and kidney higely enlarges. Costs in fallopian tubes, and needing colonoscopy after 22 days diarrhea and 22 lbs lost. Would give negative stars if could. Been trying to file complain since oct 17th, no call backs

Brought my daughter multiple times because I knew something was wrong with her balance. Told me to schedule appointment with pediatrician. Knew something was wrong with my daughter and rushed her to Valley Childrens Hospital ER in Madera. Turns out my daughter "unstable balance" wasn't because of her growing they were actually seizures. MRI was done and confirmed she had a massive brain tumor and her brain was full of CSF. Oakdale hospital made me feel like I was overreacting and just exposing her to covid when something bigger was wrong with her. Point is I WILL NOT BE TAKING HER AGAIN FOR ANY KIND OF EMERGENCY.
