My car went in running nice enough. They rejetted the carb, adjusted fuel air mixture, and got the accelerator pump working more correctly. The Dyno guy was straight-forward that he didn't get a significant jump in horsepower out of it (and seemed disappointed not to have something to brag about). I wound up really impressed about several things that has me going back now that I have a stroker motor in the (same) car: 1. The car really did run a whole lot better after. Started on first spin of the engine, didn't cough or die when cold. Little annoying things were now simply absent and it ran correctly, like it should.... 2. The staff was careful, caring, and interested in me. I've got a high-end cobra replica, and I bought it for me, not for what other people think. I routinely take lip from other people about it. If I wanted a $2,000,000 original, I would have saved up over 16 lifetimes and bought one. This is as close as I could get to something that I experienced as a young teen, and I LOVE driving it. For me. Not for others. The point is that I didn't have to listen to any crap from anyone there. Motor was mild at 300hp and the tuner was blunt in his assessment - thing's low compression and will run on pump gas... Not a trace of negative of judgement, which was really nice. They were referred to me by 4 seperate people who don't know each other. Go in there and look around, shake someone's hand. You'll immediately know that they're competent and not full of anything other than just liking their job. I can't imagine any better reasons to leave money behind there.
