“Good Old Things is more than an antique shop — it's a full woodworking and metalwork sign shop, and the inventory backs it up. Carved wood pieces, metal signs, custom metal and wood objects — they've got the supply and the skill to make whatever you need. Inside the store, it's a treasure hunt: old lunch pails, vintage odds and ends, the kind of stuff that stops you mid-aisle. I spotted a NASA lunchbox identical to the one I carried in second or third grade back in the seventies — instant time machine. The owners are the ones doing the work, and they're genuinely nice people. We had a sign made ourselves, and the prices were very reasonable.”
