We checked in late evening for one night. Receptionist was friendly. We had two queen beds on the ground floor which was handy for bringing in cases. No plug for the bath so showered our son. Basic but clean bathroom with big counter space. Also had a fridge, microwave, coffee machine and hair dryer. Good for one night on the way to Yosemite. We were offered breakfast free but didn't have time. We would stay here again.

Clean, comfortable and quiet. Extremely helpful people, I left a suit and was in Yosemite before finding out. They boxed it up for me so I could get it UPS'd home. Thanks again!! đ

I am not satisfied with my stay: the furniture inside and outside the room are so old and the carpet uncleaned. Ater two nights there, I ended up with dozens of bed bugs bites on each arm⌠It is a nightmare, it is very itchy!!! I am so afraid I am taking those bugs home in my bagage.

DISGUSTING AND NOT SAFE.
BUGS ON BED. DOOR LATCH WAS BROKEN , HANGING OFF THE DOOR. ROOM WAS FILTHY. AC DOES NOT WORK. NO HOT WATER. TOWELS HAD STAINS. 24/7 CONCIERGE IS A LIE. I woke up with BUG BITES on me as well. THIS WAS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING.
I tried to speak with a manager to get a refund for this $291 night stay and she refused. She never apologized and said she will â let the owner knowâ in A MONTH WHEN HEâS BACK. She said âitâs too difficultâ to refund
I donât know how these people sleep at night knowing theyâre literally robbing people. Manager is not doing her job correctly she canât even give refunds for rooms that are inhabitable. I asked why theyâre booking rooms that have broken door locks and she said âitâs probably fixed by now we never noticed itâ which proves they probably never even cleaned the room. HUGE lability issue.

Unclean rooms with lots of bugs, including bed bugs. The room we were given had dead bugs in the bedding and an ant infestation. We rang down and were given keys to another room. This room had more dead bugs in the bed including visible bed bugs. We checked and there was a review from two weeks ago about bed bugs. When we went to the front desk she said they donât check the reviews so didnât know about previous bed bugs. We showed pictures and asked for a full refund, they provided the refund but were not fazed by our complaints of the bugs or our pictures & images of the bugs.

Oakhurst Lodge was a nice place to stay while visiting Yosemite. The drive into the park wasnât too far and the breakfast makes for an easy option.

Cute little place, very family friendly. Staff was extremely helpful and our room was very clean. Breakfast was provided and we enjoyed the pool. Overall best hotel I've stayed at in a while.

I give it 5 stars because they are honest about what they offer. The rooms themselves are not overly nice but they have been updating them. The price and service though have been awesome. We just completed our second year in a row booking 11-12 rooms for a church youth trip. I appreciate all the help they provided in securing the rooms and making us feel welcome. It is nice to know when you call that someone act the front desk is happy to help instead of you being an inconvenience to their day.
We are looking forward to next year.

I stayed here for two nights in May 2025 and unfortunately had a pretty bad experience. The room (54) was not well maintained, dirty toilet on arrival, stained furniture, sticky floors, and a loose towel rack. The A/C was stuck at 73 and couldnât be changed which made the room extremely hot at night.
Even worse, raccoons were digging through the trash outside our room at night, and I could hear what sounded like an animal under the bathtub. Housekeeping never showed up despite using the door sign, and I was told later that no one was available on-site despite their 24-hour reception claim. I called about the raccoons because they were making our dog bark and was told no one was there and that they are animals and we should just deal with it.
I raised all of this with staff during and after the stay. They said theyâd talk to the GM but never got back to me directly and instead, they quietly took $30 off my $360+ bill. I gave them a fair chance to resolve things, but it felt like they just wanted to brush it off. Would not recommend unless conditions seriously improve.

If you love old style cozy American hotels, this is the spot. Itâs nice, neat, warm vibes and the owner is a great man! I enjoyed staying here very much!!!

Great spot if youâre heading to Yosemite! Rooms are clean, beds are really comfy, and the free breakfast is super good and filling. Totally recommend it. Itâs exactly the kind of classic American motel you picture from the movies. Also, make sure to swing by the little town of Oakhurst itâs worth a visit!

Was impressed with the rooms and could tell they have been updated! Would highly recommend staying here. Only complaint is we wished there were a few options for breakfast like a waffle maker! We will stay here again!
