Lines are long, they close complete when they take lunch and are never back on time. Never answer phone.and then do not return phone calls when you leave a message

This has been my worst experience with a pharmacy. Ever. The absolute WORST! I came into Von's at 1PM for a doctor's appointment with the Action Medical Clinic. Turns out I have a bladder infection and was prescribed antibiotics. Since we were in Von's I had her send the prescription to the Von's pharmacy. Big mistake. I wish I had realized there was a CVS next door. To begin, when I left the doctor's office at about 1:30, the pharmacy was closed for lunch and had a HUGE line. So we went to get some lunch. We returned at 2:30 to pick-up the prescription, which had been given to them an hour earlier, but they hadn't even started to fill it. So, after 15 min they took my insurance information and said it would be a 45 min wait. They said they would send a text when it's ready, which should have been at 3:30PM By 4PM, we still hadn't received notice my prescription was ready, but hubby went in to check. He came back to say they only have one pharmacist on duty and 20 people were waiting for flu shots while the same pharmacist filled prescriptions in between. Back to the car to wait for another hour. Keep in mind, I've got a raging bladder infection that has been causing me pain since It woke me up at 6AM - so I need my antibiotics. My hubby went back inside at 5:00 - 3 1/2 hours since they received the prescription and 2 1/2 hours since we provided my health insurance information. Still not ready. By now we are both livid, having spent the entire afternoon sitting in our car. Waiting. Waiting. Waiting. Hubby went back at 5:15 to stand at the pharmacy counter among all the idiots who remain unmasked in the midst of a pandemic, in the hopes they might actually fill my prescriptions since he was waiting. Nope. At 5:45 I couldn't stand it any longer and went in to store to get the prescriptions to take to CVS. Suddenly they fill them. FOUR HOURS to get an antibiotic!! Oh yeah, anybody want a 10% off coupon for the Von's pharmacy in Oakdale CA?

I have been going to vons for years and I have to say there have been many times I tell myself go some else. Thelma is great b and so is the one pharmacist but the rest are very rude and flat will ignore you.i waited in line for a good 10 minutes just watching her as she acted like she was busy finially I said can I drop this off then she comes to the counter fills out the prescription and ok il ask the pharmacist if he can fill it...b.... I've had the same scrip for years.she never smiles andd looks like she needs to retire she definitely doesnt need to b in the hospitality business.

I truly love everyone that works here! They work so hard, something some people tend to take for granted. Remember: You get back what you give out in this world and I know that they appreciate a smile every now and then? I wouldn’t go anywhere else, no matter what the wait may be.

Horrible experience!!! They couldn't figure out how to use Cal-Viva insurance and left me without very important medicine for nine days. They just kept sending me out on fool's errands just to get rid of me. It was always that they needed this paperwork or that ID card or I needed to call my insurance company. The truth is they just didn't know how to use their own insurance system. CVS had no problem running my Cal-Viva insurance. It took them less than five minutes to get approval for me. Vons also never answers their phones or returns voice mails. One day I called 32 times and never once spoke to a human. The rep from Cal-Viva also called six times and never got through. The truth is that Vons is a food store and they treat their pharmacy as an afterthought. Avoid at all costs!

While standing in line to pick up my prescription, a woman called in to see if she could pick up her prescription, the rude lady that was working there laughed and told the customer that it's to early to pick it up, the customer must have asked specifically for her gabapentin because the employee made such a scene that everyone within earshot could hear the employee yell at the customer that she was going to have to deal with it, as it couldn't be picked up yet. The phone interaction was awful, but the loud conversation between the employee and the pharmacist that happened after the phone interaction was next level rude. The two of them were making fun of the customer, and mentioned her diagnosis several times as well as a made fun of some of her prescriptions. These people are less then professional and should not be working with the public.
