One of the managers Shaheed S. Was extremely helpful, this gentleman assisted me and made me feel cared for. Excellent customer service skills and a very sincere personality. This is the first time I've ever been to this store, as I'm not from the area however do frequent Oakland quite often. I ran into a mechanical problem on the way into work. However, left all my diagnostics tools and hand tools at home. Operation of the store is very smooth, I'm sure it is to this gentleman being one of the folks in charge. Great customer service!!!

I ordered brake pads and rotors online. They delivered to the wrong address and put it on me to correct. I spent hours on the phone. When i finally found the parts and went to install the first rotor the set screws didn't line up. I bought the gold version. Very shoddy manufacturing. And the customer service department is extremely disappointing. When i went to return the parts the guy wasn't able to because apparently they always have a hard time returning online orders. So i had to call once again to get some different numbers and go back to return again. I went with Rock Auto because they are always great.

The managers here are lazy and do not want to help and force the employees to do everything for them. A particular manager named Freddy is very rude. He started cussing out one of their employees in front of customers, extremely unprofessional and horrible to talk to someone that way. I hope that manager gets fired, it is not okay at all to talk to anyone like that. Every interaction he has with people is very irritable and rude from what I've seen and heard. Do not give them any business!! They don't care about their workers!

Bad customer service, starting with security guard from the door which dose not know what he spouses to do, no communication, I will never go to that place again, it was such a waste of my time..

Top quality service experience. My battery died and AAA advised me to get it tested after I drove the car for a bit. I came into this location and they were extremely friendly and helpful in providing a battery test. After my battery came up 'bad' (my only complaint is that the battery test yields categorical outcomes that have no details, good/bad)-- the service reps helped me select the right battery for me, and they installed it on the spot. Adrian was especially awesome-- efficient, skilled, and professional. Will come back for all of my car part needs.

I really like this Auto Zone for the simple fact that the employees are always very friendly & helpful.Like most auto parts stores, there is usually a line at the counter. But, I've noticed that the reason for the wait (at this store) is because they actually do try to help the customer. Either by answering their questions or by suggesting a product that may work better for you (and it was actually $3.00 cheaper)!I am a devoted customer to this Auto Zone here at Fruitvale Station.

I'm 72 and wanted service. My windshield wiper shredded during the heavy rains.. They had two guys working the counter. A third was mopping the floor. They didn't have the highest quality in stock, but they had second best, that would work. The counter salesman was honest over the phone saying he didn't know if the the two sizes they had would work. I'd have to bring the car down to see. I hit it right, I was out of there within 10 minutes, late morning MLK Day. The installation is fine. I recommend anyone to go to Autozone. Be courteous to them as they try to communicate to you. Extend a "no worries" if you think they are having a hard day. Aloha. Help your brothers [sisters] have a good day. Small businesses are having a hard time, 3rd year pandemic. I appreciated their free installation vs. going to a car dealership. Definitely saved me some bucks. They also installed a new battery with apologies for having to take care of other customers in the past.

Great store and friendly people, but a little hard to find. When you see the sign, and it may be turned off, turn RIGHT there in the unmarked driveway. It's in the back.
