Stay away from this property if you are looking for customer service, quality, and services that they advertise online. Horrible customer service and unresponsive and unprofessional management. We stayed there for 4 nights in Dec 2023. On our first night, we reported a nonfunctioning hot tub, but nothing was done to get the hot tub fixed during our 4 nights/5 days stay. After sitting in a COLD hot tub, we went back to our room to take a hot shower, but there was no hot water in the shower at the time. It was torture. On top of that, we found a spider on the pillow and took it to the front desk to show the proof. The front desk representative didn’t even offer to replace the pillow. We found sliver fish in the bathroom. At night, we saw a few cats roaming around and sleeping on guests’ cars. There were lots of other hotels available in December 2023 that we could’ve booked, but we booked this hotel because of the hot tub. Also, they had a note on the front desk that there was no housekeeping due to the Christmas holidays, which we were unaware of at the booking. We didn’t want to stay there as there were a lot better/nicer hotels available for lower prices, but we were told that the Manager would call us to resolve our issue. 4 days went by, but no manager made any efforts to even apologize for the lack of services that we paid for. We finally saw manager, Vijay Singh on the site on our last day and tried talking to him. He brushed off our attempt saying that he will review our complaint and get back to us. No action was taken by him until we checked out. Not even a word of apology came out of his mouth. They are compensating their unappealing Industrial location with lack of services. What a shame! Best Western Franchise should be ashamed of letting this management represent their name. It’s a shame they are calling this 0-star property a PLUS to fool people.Nearby activities: Unappealing Industrial locationSafety: Pest Control issues. I will never forget the bed bug infestation we experienced here. We had to find another hotel in the middle of the night alll the way across town. How do the bugs get this big if "deep cleaning" is done regularly? I've read some of the replies from the owner to other reviews and the gaslighting is REAL. Should not be running a business.

The desk clerk refused to open the doors at mid night after the cards demagnetized. I had to go in the side door and OPD had to get involved because she refused to accept an existing guest. Avoid this place like the plague. More like worst Western am I

Front desk person seemed annoyed. They had a bunch of black cats sleeping in bushes and wandering around with pans of cat food near the covered car entry. The room had comfortable, clean, bed but had feather pillow, which are terrible for my allergies and asthma. In general the housekeepers keeping the room very clean, however, the room is outdated, broken, dirty and rusty (See images). Even the toilet paper holder was filthy and rusty. The mirror frame was broken/separated and top or shower wall filthy and seal cracked.The worst part was the upholstered corner chair,...it was heavily stained with EEEwwww, .(image attached, so disgusting.) This was a bacteria fest in that room...deserving of a full refund that I even had to stay there. It makes feel so grossed out. After paying almost $150 they should be ashamed. It seems like the cleaning team does the best they can and that the owners/management don't care at all about the condition of the rooms. People are probably stuck once they're there as it is an airport hotel. There was also a posting that they never started their airport shuttle again, after the closed for Covid. It's carrying that way too far.

This place is one of the worst hotels I've stayed at, they harassed me for the 2 weeks I stayed there. My daughter has a service dog and they gave me problems for 2 weeks because of it 1 morning one of the ladies didn't let my 16 year old daughter back into hotel she had to wait outside for 2 hours while I was at work and they never apologized about it. Then 1 night they called my room at almost midnight waking me up harassing me about paper work for the dog I told its against the law for them to be asking for it. Then the weekend I checked out I get a call saying I left the room unusable which is a lie all I left was some trash. Now they are trying to charge me extra fees which is ridiculous I asked for pictures as proof and they refused. Do not stay there, go somewhere else.

I am a Diamond member with Best Western, and we always stay with them when we travel, they usually have a cancel possibly of by 4pm the day of check in, this hotel was different and had a 3 day advance cancel policy. Our flight canceled out of Florida and we were not going to be able to get to Oakland, we were only going out for a 55 yr class reunion and coming back the next day, so after a phone call to reservations who called the hotel we were told they would not refund our money.

My family and I had our vehicle burglarized at this location a few years ago. Our travel documents and other items were stolen. We promptly informed the hotel management and Oakland police. Both entities were completely unhelpful. They implied vehicle burglary was a common occurence in the area/ location and we should've known better. The hotel staff referred us to a posted statement absolving them of any responsibility for stolen items. To this day, we have yet to hear from Oakland PD regarding recovery of our items or the status of our case. Nor have we had any semblance of a remedy proposal from Best Western Plus. Please save yourself the trouble and book your stay elsewhere.Safety: UNSAFE!

Front desk lady was more worried about checking me out instead of ordering me an Uber. You know damn well you could of done that later. Now I’m in hurry to catch my flight because she also couldn’t figure out how to order my Uber. Really to make sure I was charged. Y’all don’t fast check outs where all you have to do is leave the cards in the front desk. Y’all took my credit card information before y’all gave me the room and charged it. GTFOH. Can’t believe that was your response. Best western just keeps going down. It’s going to turn into motel 6 soon.

I fee like this was a good mid-range hotel for being close to the airport or for going to a concert/game/event at either the coliseum or the arena. Less than 10min drive/rideshare to the stadiums. The actual location is kind of in a sketchy area and they provide ample warnings not to leave any thing of value in your vehicle. However, once inside the lobby and rooms have nice, refreshed decor. Rebecca at the front desk was kind and got me checked in an hour early and even called to ask how the room was once I got in. Overall, it was a comfortable stay and great option for convenience and comfort. I just wouldn't be going for a evening stroll is all.

Perfect for pre-departure and also returning. Feels like home and the staff is very protective of the guests. It was very nice to have people looking out for us while in Oakland.

This hotel is deep in a residential and industrial area. It doesn't look like a safe neighborhood and they suggest bringing everything from your car. The first night the ice machine didn't work, but they fixed that. We had to stay here for a week due to car issues. We used the hot tub many times and that was amazing. We also used their laundry room twice. It may look small but it is efficient. The staff was always nice and helpful. I had to change my review after the first night to be fair to the hotel. They did fix the issues we had right away.

Clean & quiet hotel but NOT SAFE. An Uber driver dropped off my mom & I at the hotel and said, "You are staying here?" * We were informed that there is a homeless shelter right down the street *Cars are broken into often (there is no security), and catalytic converters are stolen. According to staff, the police will not be called, and a report will not be taken. Online only The elevator smelled like urine, the hot tub was broken, and the beds were VERY hard. Good breakfast, though.
