My car had been neglected and abused. Tommy brought it back to life and went the extra mile to save me from going to the dealership. Knowledgeable, responsive and conscientious, Tommy kept me informed of status of parts and cost. No surprises. I recommend Tommy and Lakeshore Chevron for quality service and repair work. Dare I say, trustworthy, as well. Thanks, Tommy!

We got a flat tire and had to tow it here. Tommy was extremely helpful, nice, patient, knowledgeable and trustworthy. He gave us honest advice on what we should do about getting a new tire. So glad to have a trustworthy and reliable place nearby us that we can take our cars to. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Great service from Lam. He was thorough, quick and very helpful. Checked the MBZ systems, showed me what could become a problem, fixed my starting problem and I was on my way. Thanks so much - great to have a trustworthy mechanic who knows his cars!

AFRICAN AMERICANS BEWARE! Especially if you are female! I took my car here for a flat tire. The service guy took the nail out of my tire and put my tire back on my car and charged me $30. I leave, driving not even .1 miles away and same tire is flat again. I took my car back to this establishment and the guy says there is another nail in the same tire and that I needed to pay him an additional $30 and that it was normal for people to bring there cars back 3 and 4 times to get the same tire fixed. This is a SCAM! I have been driving for 41 years and have had flat tires fixed many times but have never run into a SCAM like this before. It is raining today but I refuse to go back even if my tire is flat again. So far I've paid $60 and I'm not even sure my tire is fixed. This is absolutely a SCAM and from this day forward, this business is cursed for taking advantage of people like me!! Times are different now, people do not get away with SCAMS anymore. If anybody knows what governmental agency to send these sort of complaints, please let me know. Again, maybe they treat other people fairly but if you have any melanin in your skin, don't take your car to this SCAMMING and now CURSED business!

I tried to bring my car here for a smog check after calling but when I arrived they said they didn't have anyone in who could do it. So I agreed to come back the next morning and made a specific appointment. Well, I show up on time the next morning and they told me the guy who does them hadn't arrived and they didn't know when he would be in. They kept promising me it would only take an hour, except they weren't being honest. There was a car sitting in the garage so I asked if it was also waiting for a smog check and they said it was. The guy there kept insisting that every smog check takes a minimum of 45 minutes, so by his own math it would have been almost an hour for the car in front of me and then an hour for my car from whenever the smog guy showed up. You can leave your car there, but they had no idea when or if the smog guy would show up and I didn't feel like they were being honest with me. I waited there almost 20 minutes and no one showed up so I went somewhere else. I understand that times are hard right now and unexpected things come up, but I wish they had just been transparent about the situation that they were short staffed and wouldn't be able to get to it. Or called me and kept me from driving down there and wasting my time.

In and out fast. Expensive. I like expensive gas stations cuz there's no line you pump and you're on your way...

I can't praise this business enough. I had a slow leak in one of the so-called "self-sealing" tires of a Chevy Bolt, and had read online how difficult it was to get these repaired. To make matters worse, the dealer informed me that replacement tires are very difficult to acquire at the moment. When I took my car into the Chevron station to add air, I asked one of the mechanics whether they could repair it. He asked me to back it into their repair bay, took a look, found a nail that was embedded in the tire, and fixed it right then in five minutes, for a very reasonable cost. It's still holding pressure a few days later. If only everything in life were this straightforward!

I inherited my dad's 1997 Ford F150 Truck. It is dear to me I drive it more than I drive my car. I took the truck into Ken Betts Chevron Lakeshore because my check engine ight came on. There were a couple of things that needed to be replaced. The radiator being one of the issues. Their service was prompt. They were patient and friendly when communicating with me. I feel like I have a new truck. And, if you are a AAA member, you get a discount. I Highly Recommend Them!

I would not recommend going here. I went here because of a flat tire a couple of months ago and then he told me that I needed not 1 tire but 2 tires done (that's what mechanics do to make more money) so I was nice and let it go and got my 2 tires done. I paid him $250 then next thing I know my car is wiggling and feels unstable almost like I got 2 old tires or he didn't install them correctly. I'm not saying it was on purpose or pure laziness or lack of talent in his craft but at the end of the day he might have put my life in danger and when I went back to give him another chance he sat at his desk and pretended to be a mechanic and do "paperwork" when in reality he was probably embarrassed to say he can't do anything right.

They were super friendly here--very helpful when I came in to get my brakes checked. Sometimes the cashiers inside aren't the friendliest, but they've more often than not been willing to come outside and help me when I wasn't able to pump gas.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HEREThe manager (Ryan) is verbally abusive and dishonest. My girlfriend brought her car in to have some spark plugs replaced after noticing a P0301 code. She has brought her car here for years and put thousands of dollars into a business she trusted, so when Ryan told her that it was a quick fix and that she could drop the car off for a squeeze in appointment we thought nothing of it and appreciated it immensely, this was late Saturday morning.By 5 PM Saturday we called as we had heard nothing from Ryan at Betts Lakeshore Chevron. We were informed by the gas station attendant that he had left for the day and that the car was left with the hood up. We were told he would not be returning until Monday morning, so her car was now being held for 36+ hours without her consent on the written estimate. We received no response on Sunday either.Monday morning the manager was 20 minutes late in, then verbally abusive to my partner while she was just trying to get her vehicle back. He berated her in front of his entire clientele when she was trying to retrieve her car so she could go to work, which she had already had to call in and miss part of her shift for. Furthermore, I believe he reconnected the spark plug wires, as the car now barely runs. The car is now experiencing a series of error codes, P0300, P0301, and P0302. This makes me believe he did not reconnect the spark plug wires in the correct order. Furthermore, in violation of the California Automotive Repair Act, Ryan refused to return the old spark plugs so we could take the car elsewhere for diagnosis.DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO BETTS LAKESHORE CHEVRON.

Ryan at Chevron is so kind and generous- he showed me how to use the tire pressure gauge and let the air out of my tires for me when it turned out I had overfilled them. Thanks Ryan!
