I bought my leather belt here four years ago and I wear it every day. The quality is fantastic and it's still practically brand new!

I have had my first and foremost made to measure experience here. This artisan makes the most beautiful hand made chore coats. I had to have one, but unfortunately while trying on the biggest xxl size it was still a little snug. This angel of a woman MADE ONE ESPECIALLY FOR ME! I was so excited and overjoyed at the customer service, quick turnaround and easy payment process. I always stop by whenever I am in the area and have purchased many other of her beautiful handmade crafted goods. I also own a beautiful leather key chain from her and an very happy with it. During my last visit she had updated her design with different hardware to hold it together and offered if I wanted to update my piece at no charge to me! I declined appreciatively because the screw in rivets on my key chain, to me, look more badass ;) trust me this is definitely a place you can count on for quality and service.

I want to take a second to talk about my favorite place to visit when I'm in San Francisco. Temescal Alleys is home to many great small businesses, but my favorite is @claflinthayer which is where my beautiful new leather jacket came from. I had been dreaming about this jacket ever since I visited last year.
Well, right after I got to the hotel yesterday I bolted for Oakland. I knew the traffic was going to be bad and I knew I wasn't going to make it to @claflinthayer in time. I sent Liz an email and she responded right away. She contacted her employee, Lee, who stayed open a little late so I could come in.
I am so grateful to Liz and Lee. I am now the proud owner of this beautiful, handmade, German leather, burgundy jacket. Meeting Lee was a joy as well; she's from Michigan too! I can't wait to visit again next year.
