C1 on Saturdays at noon is a wonderful way to get some "me" time in just an hour. Total relaxation with the right amount of movement and heat/sweat. Welcoming environment with clear instruction, great for those like me getting back into their practice. Will def come back week after week. Bonus: street parking right in front on Broadway

I had a very pleasant experience here when I visited for the first time. The front desk woman was genuine and easy to talk to and got me all settled before class started with very clear directions on everything. She also taught the class and was helpful and encouraging using the names of people She knew. Good customer service goes a long way and it starts with good communication

In my last class, I loved Clarissa’s clear, eloquent guided instructions and her gentleness and strength to all of us. I love the cleanliness of the studio and shower facilities. I love the amount of heat, not too much not too little. I will definitely keep coming back! Oh and I love the parking facility too. Thank you for setting up and running such a great studio for us :)

I was thrilled with my first-time experience here! Pauline's Sculpt class was AMAZING! I came back just 12 hours later! I can't wait to come back!

This is one of my favorite studios due to the teachers, classes, and community. You feel like it is your home studio with their welcoming nature and classes that include everyone from beginners to experts. I am very grateful they stayed open consistently during Covid and followed all the right procedures to keep us safe. I will keep my membership for a lifetime and have recommended over 8+ friends since I started.

People here are lovely, facilities seem clean, parent company is scammy. I decided during the free trial period that hot yoga is not for me and I have been trying to cancel my membership for about an hour. The person at the desk told me I'd be able to contact her directly to cancel it before the 2-week period was up, but I've scoured all the emails I received and it seems like there's no way to contact this branch directly. Web chat and calling both regional and national numbers gets me nowhere.Update: Increasing to 2 stars because I finally found where I could cancel the membership through the online portal, but it seems intentionally obfuscated. Poor form!

My daughter and I recently decided that we wanted to check out the Rockridge location of CorePower, so we signed up for a class using their portal. When I approached the counter to pay for a single class for my daughter and I ($18 each), the instructor Christina said that it would be $1 each for each of us for two weeks. That was it. No, "after two weeks your card will be charged an additional $199 for each of you." It wasn't until I checked my bank account and noticed two charges from CorePower for $199 that I realized she signed us up for some type of membership. I searched my email and found a receipt in the spam folder for an altogether different amount. Now, instead of relieving our stress with exercise, I’m spending my precious time and energy writing this review and contacting the company and my credit card company to reconcile charges. The classes were just okay in comparison what I’ve experienced in other yoga/exercise studios, and we were considering giving them another try but after this scammy experience, we will not be going back.

My daughter and I visited the Rockridge location recently after signing up for a class online. When I approached the counter to pay for a single class for my daughter and I, the instructor Christina said that the charge for a two week trial was $1 each. That was it. No, "after two weeks your card will be charged an additional $199 for each of you." It wasn't until I checked my bank account and noticed two charges from CorePower for $199 that I realized we had been misled. Crazy how one practitioner in this place of "wellness" has now created such a stressful vibe for two potential customers. We were considering visiting again to check out other classes but after this scammy experience, we will not be going back. Get it together CorePower.

I've been to a number of CPY studios in the Bay Area (WC, Berkeley West, Grand Lake, Market St SF), So CA (San Diego) as well as non-CPY studios nationwide and Rockridge CPY is my favorite studio--I think of it has my "home" studio. The design of the physical studio and its lighting are, to me, instantly both peaceful and inspiring... and, of course, the teachers are all wonderful, knowledgeable, and kind.

The Rockridge studio is a-ok and the teachers are kind, but I desperately need CorePower to get a better online platform. There are no class descriptions linked to the schedule, half the time the schedule won't even load for me, I can't tell how many unused classes I have left, and if you want to buy, say, 5 individual classes - you have to go through the checkout FIVE times. Plus no payment receipt after the fact and when I emailed HQ I got an answer two weeks later (past my work's reimbursement deadline) with only some of my receipts attached. I need yoga just to get over how grumpy I get trying to buy and book a class.
