We were extremely pleased with the work done for us by this studio. The quality of the images they transferred from family slides exceeded our expectations, frankly. The prices were reasonable. They communicated clearly and promptly concerning the process, timeline etc. And, they responded quickly to our questions. We are quite confident in the care they gave to our "treasures."

I had a 35-year-old cassette tape of an interview with a family member. In my case, I didn't want them to clean it up, although this may be a service that they offer. I just wanted the tape converted to a digital file, which they did very quickly and at an extremely reasonable price. When I got two files - reflecting the "A" and "B" sides of the tape, I asked if these could be merged sequentially, and they sent a new combined file immediately. I couldn't ask for better service.

Their work is outstanding. The video for my husbands home going celebration was everything I wanted and more. Tears were flowing. They also downloaded the Live Stream Service on a flash (permission was given from the Church). I would highly recommend their services!

I contracted DRS for conversion of mini-DV tapes and a few VHS tapes that were over 25 years old. I am incredibly happy with the results and the overall experience. Andrea was great to work with- during our initial conversation she explained the process, the expected charges, and the forecasted turn around times. She also described the pros/cons of the media storage options and file types. The written estimate was provided same day. The final charges were lower than the original estimate and the conversion work was completed ahead of schedule. I highly recommend.

Digital Roots went above and beyond to help me convert Sony Mini Disc files of conversations with my grandparents to a listenable format, when others hadn't been able to help me. Suffice it to say that my grandfather died back in 2007 so this had been on my to do list for almost 20 years... I'm so appreciative that they helped me solve such a difficult problem!

I have used DRs services multiple times, each time for very special archiving projects. This time it was for a quick turnover of many photos needed to be scanned and used in a program. The service they provided was professional, flawless, and turned around quicker than anticipated. Sean, the owner, is hands on, accessible, and just an overall really nice guy. I’d recommend and have to many.

Unfortunately, my experience with this lab wasn't ideal. I have loads of 35mm negatives that I need scanned, and I called ahead of time to see if they could do it. Sure! So, I combed through my negatives and selected the frames I wanted scanned. I wrote the number of each frame on a post-it with each set of negatives. Cleared off 2 flash drives. Drove through traffic to take the whole package to them. Drove back through traffic after dropping it off. At home, breathing a sigh of relief, I get a call that they don't do selective scanning anymore, so my request is dead in the water. I drive back again through traffic, and in my car get another call that they *can* do selective scanning at twice the price. I didn't want to risk more communication errors, so I picked up my package and went elsewhere. No problems at 2nd lab, so they have my business!

Digital Roots has always been a great resource for my team at work and for personal scanning of family slides, negatives, documents etc. I recommend them often and assure you that your search is over, these folks are the best. Also, the last batch of scanning was dropped off and I swear they called me on my way home saying it was done? OK maybe it was a few days but it did seem that way!

I can't begin to say how floored I am with how my media came out. I had about 40 years worth of photos/videos as well as some scrapbooks from my grandmother circa 1912, birth albums, old writings and all other kinds of complicated books. The way the scrapbooks came out is nothing short of incredible. You could tell a lot of time and care was put into making sure even old captions were legible from over 100 years ago. The rest of the movies and photos came out fantastic as well. I cannot recommend Digital Roots Studio enough. And, they're super nice to work with and very accommodating!

Found almost 50 year old movie reels of our son as a toddler and brought them here for conversion to digital. Very fast and friendly folks. Provided a DVD and also emailed downloadable files. The videos are just as I remembered.
