Dollar Tree in Oakland: Great Staff, Packed Shelves, Worth the Wait!
If you're willing to brave a few common city inconveniences, this Dollar Tree in Oakland is absolutely worth the trip for the value and selection. While it's a smaller store, the employees do an incredible job because the shelves are bursting at the seams with merchandise—it feels like they fit twice as much as they should! You'll find lots of good finds here, but be ready to navigate packed aisles.
The service is exceptional: the staff is great and work hard to keep everything running despite the volume of customers. Plus, the security guard is super friendly, which always makes the atmosphere welcoming.
I'll be honest, the parking isn't great, but it works if you're patient. And yes, you might encounter long lines due to how popular this location is, but the savings is worth the hassle. For incredible deals on household items and spontaneous finds, this is a beloved Oakland spot.

This is one of my favorite stores, period. They’re usually well-stocked with regular items and seasonable ones. Employees are nice. Store is usually clean, way more organized and orderly than other locations. I know this store and its contents well given how much time I spend there; this is only possible because of how consistent and well-kept this store is.

I shopped at this Oakland Dollar Tree today. After leaving I discovered i had recently lost my mobile phone. I returned to the store and the security guard directed me to the manager, who immediately presented the phone back to me! Thank you!!!

I went into the store today it is 7:26/24 at 14:32 the manager at the time was told that there was a spill in the aisle leading up to the cash register she left and went on her break for lunch there was a long line at this time and there was only one register open there was a young lady who came in and she only wanted one drink I believe it was the manager's friend because somehow she came back and took that young lady and not continue the line when something was said about it she went back and forth with me regarding what she did and said that I could have just got in line when that wasn't the point you were told about a spill going all the way down the aisle that we were all stepping in not stepping in and then you came back from your break or lunch to take your friend and when something was said about it you were very argumentative about it mind you I go to this store all of the time this is my first time with it encounter with this manager most of the managers and staff there are very attentive and they try and make sure their stores clean and make sure people are not stealing but this particular manager at about 2:30 was very nasty not nice didn't care if someone fell on that mess in the in the aisle cuz it went all the way down the aisle and that's it

Closed too early and does not let in customers after!
This Dollar Tree advertises that they close at 9pm however, after arriving at 8:45 to quickly return a faulty item, they had blocked the door and did not let us in. Even after explaining that we just wanted to return our item, the employee rudely refused to let us in. The customer service overall was horrible to begin with and lacked enthusiasm for empathy.

At least 50 people in line. Literally 1 person working. It's also absolutely filthy. My shoes were sticking to the floor. This place is a disgusting joke!
