I rented a car from Enterprise at Oakland airport on January 6, 2024 and had a great experience. The agents that checked me in upon arrival were professional, kind, warm and friendly. Each of them gave me a warning to not leave valuables in the car as thefts were on the rise in the area. I was given a brand new 2024 Nissan Maxima which I thoroughly enjoyed driving. The car was clean and without issue. My rental experience was great. I mentioned I had to be at the airport at 4am for my return flight and they said the location was only open for drop off only and that it would be safe. On the return, it wasn't as seamless as I expected, as there wasn't any Enterprise signage on the outer road that would lead me to the return location. I could see their well lit building, but there was no entrance there. Every other agency had their name displayed on signage at the entrances off the outer road. I drove around the perimeter for 10 minutes looking for the entrance. I was so frustrated that I turned into Avis' section hoping I could weave my way around to Enterprise somehow, but I couldn't. I was stuck. Thankfully, an Avis rep approached the car as I drove in circles as he knew I was lost. He said I was lucky I pulled in there because Avis is the only company that staffs someone 24 hours. He moved his vehicle and let me out and was able to guide me to the right entrance. The Enterprise sign was only visible if you looked down at the end of the driveway. Good thing he was there, because I would have been at risk for missing my flight. I would strongly suggest an Enterprise sign be put with the stack of other rental agency signs to make it easier. But, until they do, just "remember the Alamo", as they have a sign and it's that driveway you want.

Rented a premium sedan and received an upgrade to an SUV that was great to drive. Low miles, comfortable and clean. Ladies at the rental area had great attitudes having to work all day in the rain. When I returned the vehicle, Monica was sweet and friendly and quick.

My car was damaged by a third party and quickly replaced. There was a mix up at my drop off at Oakland Airport and Tyrone was awesome and helped get my rental squared away and even a refund for an over charge on the rental type.

My experience with Enterprise has been mixed, the people at the store were wonderful and brought light to a bad situation. The customer service and road side assistance over the phone was a whole different ball game! having an accident and calling in, road side was "only able to make a report, but didn't have the power to cancel or modify my existing contract, or even get me another car brought out. The next morning i go passed back and forth between customer service and road side for over an hour and finally they say they are going to bring me a car out and that someone would be reaching out shortly for the delivery. i waited most of the day and ended up calling back and they then say they have no record of me needing another car, or a delivery request and that i will need to go down to the airport to get another car.Enterprise customer service over the phone suck and their practices are less then efficient, I hope they get a better handle on their operations. It also sucks that you cannot call any branches directly, its all ran through a phone service.

One of the fastest and most convenient experience I’ve ever had with renting and picking up a car. We arrived at 930pm and were in an upgraded car by 945pm. The staff was professional and very friendly and worked quickly to get the necessary information to get you on your way as soon as possible. I rented under a corporate account and it seemed as if they did everything they could to make sure I was taken cared of.
