Just before closing at Home Depot on Alameda Avenue, Oakland, employee Alberto saved the day. He not only guided me on replacing blinds but also efficiently found the cleaner I needed. A huge shout-out to Home Depot for outstanding staff like Alberto. His dedication made my experience genuinely five-star worthy, showcasing the kind of exceptional service that sets them apart.

The zombie vs professional difference at Home Depot on Alameda Ave "Plywood cutting machine is broken. But you could rent a Skilsaw from our tool dept and use that here to cut the plywood. Naw, sorry, we can't do that for you" - answer from Vic, the first guy I spoke with. "Oh sure, lemme just make sure the machine is working." - Malik, who then made 6 precisely measured cuts for me.

Good luck finding anyone to help you. The people on the floor never seem welcoming when asked for help, but sometimes they surprise you and are super helpful. I guess it depends on the moon and the stars aligning ? ?

This Home Depot should just shut down. It's the worst of the worst. One line to check out. People cutting in all the lines but no one says anything. I wait for 20 min just to check out for a $2.00 item. Looks like I'll drive the extra distance to go to San Leandro from now on. The only good thing about this store are a few of the employees who actually care and try to help.

The truth is, it is an excellent company to go buy materials for all types of work, especially everything you need, very economical, the employees are very friendly, the place is very secure, I recommend it. Dear friends, blessings.

Is there even management here? Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Cashier was bent over at the register swiping social media the entire time I was at the register. Didn't even acknowledge me or make eye contact. Super rude. This is the third and last time I will have an experience like this here. What a disgraceful establishment in general. I will happily take my money to another hardware store from now on.

Morteza at Home Depot Emeryville Milleorks ordered all my windows and doors. Andersen cancelled his order bc Andersen noticed that Morteza ordered some of spacer on windows silver color and not black. He made me wait several weeks for his revised order. Per building inspector all the windows and doors have to be tempered as noted on plans; however, 23 windows have standard glass. Morteza ordered some windows and doors painted white and others unfinished pine. Two windows have light bronze hardware, some have white hardware, and the rest have black bronze hardware. There seems no rhyme or reason for Morteza's helter-skelter and confusing M.O. On 9/20/23, Home Depot 's Stanley Lighting returned 4 windows. I have not been refunded for said windows as promised by Mr.Lighting. Emails to Tonya T Hodge Home Depot Resolution Expeditor-Executive Escalations and CEO Ted Decker are ignored. To date they have not repied to my concerns and the above complaint. This is elder abuse fyi.

Julio at the Pick Up desk was extremely professional considerate. I He helped me with my pick up. He provided a GREAT service. It is unusual to get good service at any Home Depot in general. Most workers are not friendly and do not care about customers. Julio was exception - one in 100's. So decided to take the time to write a review.
