Needed a cylinder head for a 1995 Plymouth 2.5L SOHC engine. So fortunate to discover King Cylinder Heads and Mike. What a great opportunity to buy a new casting and not be forced to the the risk on a "repaired head". This particular model car is a nightmare to tear down and doing it twice is not an option.Amazingly the head arrived within 48 hours of my order. The casting has been improved from the OEM with beefier walls between the intake and exhaust valves right where the typical OEM heads crack.Given the great price, fast shipping, improved casting, and amazing service there really is no other way to go. My next repair is a 2003 For Ranger with a cracked head and there is no question as to whom I am calling.

Needed a cylinder head for a 1995 Plymouth 2.5L SOHC engine. Who knew that there is a company that is still manufacturing these? I really did not want to take the risk of a "repaired head" but now I don't. I talked with a great representative who was extremely helpful and offered tips to make the job go well. What is even more amazing is that I received the head within 48 hours of the order. The head looks great and upon very close inspection you can see where the chamber walls are beefed up between the intake and exhaust valves where these OEM heads typically crack. Finally, compare the cost of a repaired head to this new casting and it's a no brainer unless you are willing to take the risk of tearing the engine apart again. For those that say this car is too old to repair please know that it is mechanically sound, the cylinders still have the original honing cross hatch pattern, has 110,000 miles, and gets 27 MPG, cheap insurance, low taxes, and no payments. Yep it's a keeper with the help of King Cylinder Heads and Mike.

Bought a cheap 2000 explorer sport with the 4.0L pushrod and a known leak of coolant into the combustion chamber. After taking it apart and taking the heads to the machine shop they found that one was cracked so I just decided to get new ones. I found King cylinder heads through youtube and called them before I bit the bullet, asking about the warranty process. They told me they'd have had a warranty claim before but that it was lifetime. works for me! I ordered both heads for a total of $600 and the car has been in service for another 2 years without a hiccup from the top end. Thanks!

I bought a pair of cylinder heads for my 1989 Ford Bronco II with the 2.9L V6 after the head gasket gave up. The old heads had snapped exhaust manifold bolts and I was in a time crunch, so I decided to order new heads rather than salvage what I got given their notorious reputation for failure. I called up King and they answered promptly, got my order out quickly, and the heads looked perfect when I received them. Now I’ve had the new heads on for about a year now, going offroad out in the California dessert areas, and the truck has never been better. It’s a weak engine for sure, but I’m glad I’m able to get out there on the trails. Big thanks to King Cylinder Heads for a solid product and quick service, I highly recommend them.

Been using King Cylinder heads for probably 8 years now. Always look forward to Mike's knowledge and expertise. We have used them, at Family Auto Care, countless times and we are never worried about quality. In all that time, had only one issue on a reman 5.7l Hemi head (customer opted for less expensive reman unit against our admonishment), and Mike quickly resolved and made good. Shipped new gasket and replacement head in very quick turn around. Always our first call, and always recommend them!!!

For the first time ever buying a new cylinder head rather than getting one resurfaced at a machine shop, my experience with King Cylinder Heads was top notch! Mike was very helpful and friendly throughout the whole process. I got the head delivered to me the very next day! I was able to go to Mike with any of my questions and he was very knowledgeable and helped me though any road blocks i encountered. The cylinder hear itself came with everything, was packaged well, and had no missing parts or broken components on arrival. After I had everything installed, my engine was making a ticking noise and Mike was proactive on helping me diagnose the issue. It turned out to be a small exhaust leak on the EGR tube, not at all related to the cylinder head. I would highly recommend King Cylinder Heads to anyone looking for a quality replacement/upgraded cylinder head for their vehicle. Their quality and customer service is unmatched.

Mike at KCH sorted me out with NEW heads, including warranty, for just a bit more than a set of rebuilds. Then he went the extra mile: I was concerned about getting my gaskets in a row, so to speak. BAM. Ten minutes later that was sorted. Now it's up to my wrenching skills to get it all together. Thanks so much, Mike! Paul

Superb, refreshing experience. I needed a Ford OHV 4.0l head for a customer of mine and found Cylinder Head King on the web. I called because I just don't trust a website to accurately portray the scope and breadth of a company's offering. My phone call was answered right away by knowledgeable and friendly staff. Kudos. Head arrived on time, well packaged, all new parts as described, fit and finish were as good as anything I've used. I called back to get a copy of my invoice as I had misplaced it and got a voice mail. However I received a very prompt email with all of the requested information from Mike W as well as a mailed hard copy of both the invoice and CC receipt. Far above and beyond what has become expected in the automotive industry. Thank you for the breath of fresh air. You will be my first call next time I need heads. Sincerely, Dean Simmons Simmons Automotive, LLC Tacoma, Wa

I don't even know where to begin these guys are so AWESOME! Mike is a rock star, he went above and beyond expectations. Not only did he give us a great price on the cylinder head, he hand delivered it to me the same day because I explained to him that the customer needed his work truck back badly. I look forward to doing business with King Cylinder head in the future and I will recommend this company to everyone I know. THANKS MIKE! YOU ROCK!

Yes, I have! It seemed like a no brainer, a remanufactured head or a brand new cast one. After all, to get a new one from the dealer was nearly $2000.00. They sent me the head. Everything looked legit. I installed the head, and the car started right up. It ran for about 5 minutes, just idling. Suddenly one of the valves dropped! Oh Shoot! So, I removed the new head. It looks like the valve separated right where the keeper sits. WTF! the damage caused by the "dropped valve" is so great, the piston must be replaced. It cannot be sanded the gashes are about 3/8 deep! The head looks like its been hit with an ax over and over. Metal fragments are in all cylinders, inside the turbo. My whole engine is mutilated now! I talked to king cylinder heads. They said the warranty only covers the head! And not the resulting damaged parts! They even went as far to blame CHINA! WHAT! I was under the impression they where made in the USA. guess not! They are made in CHINA! these guys are peddling chinese crap to us. What a joke! I have thousands of dollars in repairs that need to be done to my 2005 Audi. All the can say is they'll give me another head and the labor to do it at $45.00 an hour. What shop that has any clue what their doing works for $45.00 an hour?????? Any way don't do it. Unless you want cheap chinese junk on your car. It's like buying a T.V. Bringing it home, plugging it in and it burns down your house! Do you think they would only be liable for the T.V.
