Horrible tax man. Filed my taxes without putting the RIGHT information. Decided to take it up on himself to input what he thought instead of asking for the right info. I don't know what he thought he was doing but clearly it wasn't the right thing. He will leave you will a balance with the IRS without even discussing it with you. I would NEVER recommend anyone to go to him, especially if you're a contractor. POORLY done business I tell you.

Communication needs improvement! I’m happy to see you have someone answering the phones this year. But when I requested my 2020 taxes held and not filed until May I was NOT listened to and it was a costly mistake for me. I will not be returning.

I have been doing my taxes with Alex, for many years. Great Family Services. Friendly, and I would recommend them to anyone. They are very on top of regulations, and new tax information. Tell a Friend or Two!

Do NOT come here! This business customer service is completely unprofessional. First of, after having told the tax woman, Esther?, that my father and I were going to do our taxes separate she asked us twice if we were going to do our taxes together and if we were a couple. Additionally, my father (old-school person) has a small business, therefore, brought a record of sales (handwritten receipts but all in order). The woman proceeds to be condescending and rude stating that what he brought is not the proper way to keep business records and then still has the damn nerve to ask us an accusatory manner how can she trust our books are accurate? My father and I immediately walked out.

I have gone to Melinda to do my income taxes for many years. In that time, I have gone to graduate school, gotten married, and purchased a home. Melinda is very knowledgeable, and professional. She is always up-to-date on current tax laws and changes in the tax code. Experience matters. She is efficient, and I have never had any problems getting duplicate copies when needed. Many members of my family have gone to Melinda over the years. She is experienced in handling single, married, and business tax accounts as well as rental properties. A family member suggested a different tax preparer who was supposed to get us a bigger tax return, and that didn't happen. Melinda is reliable and knowledgeable which Is why I continue to do my taxes with her year after year. She books up early, so schedule ahead.

So, I was referred by my brother to come and give Estrada & Lopez a try. He normally sees Melinda. For some reason i ended up seeing Esther. As a new client i was not impressed with my visit here. She seemed a little off. She started with one thing and somehow drifted to another topic not relating to my taxes. The visit took over an hour and a half only because she kept talking about some personal drama with her sister. Fast forward three weeks later i receive my federal refund which seemed a little weird because normally its the state that comes first. So i wait almost a month after and still no refund on my state. I decided to check on the IRS site and had no luck. So i decided to call Estrada & Lopez to see if they would have an idea as to why my state refund had not been received. Esther, who was the person who answered my call right away cut me off and said "Have you checked on the IRS site?" I explained to her i did but that no information was given. She was very short and rude on how she talked to me. She kept interrupting me and was more focused in ending the call than to assist me. I will not be going to this tax service again.

I have known Melinda Estrada for nearly 40 years. She provides excellent tax services and I have referred many clients to her over the years and most of them have remained with her, and referred their family and friends. She is the matriarch of this "tax" family. She is the go to tax person and I highly recommend her services. Note: her office recently moved to a new location on Whittier Bl. in Montebello.

I have been coming to Melinda Estrada for over 17 years to have my taxes prepared and submitted electronically. I have also referred over 20 friends and family members. Melinda stays current with all the tax law changes. I highly recommend you bring a copy from last year and she can explain any tax credits you are missing out on. She is also great in assisting you with filing your business taxes. DBA, LLC, or a Corporation. I have never been audited! She is excellent at what she does. Give her a try, you will not be disappointed! Highly recommended!

Melinda has been doing my company taxes and Esther has been our book keeper for about 12 years now and I can honestly say they are the best!! Melinda is very honest and up front with her clients. She worked very hard to earn my business and I will not go elsewhere!! They recently moved to this new location. Their friendly and professional service hast changed!!
