When I purchased a phone from this franchise, I discovered later the vendor initiated a monthly insurance coverage I DID NOT HAVE ON MY PREVIOUS PHONE, NOR HAD ASKED FOR OR EVEN DISCUSSED WHEN MAKING THE PURCHASE OF THE NEW PHONE.

This particular store got me conncted to the network l pay for. Other stores in Oakland Didn,'t even try.If you have trouble with network connection checkAnd make sure it did Not change when it was reset by metro. Apparently mine changed at that time.!

The other guy left and the new guy is just as helpful. I'm an idiot with cell phones and he has repeatedly taken time to show me how to use my new LG 3. A very sincere manager. If you don't come during rush hour they are usually not busy. Their phone selection is pretty minimal but I think that's true of most Metro stores except the big one on San Pablo, which always has a line!

I worked at Metro for two years and the management is terrible. I recommend not working here, when u quit the job they only pay you you're last check and not commission as they would every month that you are their. They are cheap and don't ever give raises to their employees or fix things that need to be fixed in the store. This store was infested with rats at some point and nothing was ever done, terrible place to work and it was a complete waste of time. They also don't appreciate their employees and always want to tax people on things they get from China, when they are worth way less. Don't recommend shopping here at all!!
