If you buy fruits and vegetables there you have to use them right away. They go bad quickly. Sometimes the milk and cheese have expiration dates. The cigarettes were the cheapest around. And they actually have wide variety of products.I like that meat market in the back.

My love for Mi Carnal runs so, so deep. Where else can you get large avocados for 3 for $1 or two honeydews for $1? Or in the summer, 20 limes for $1? Or 2 lbs of navel oranges for $1? I mean the specials here are actually crazy. I regularly walk out of here with 20lb of groceries for around 10 bucks. Yes, the groceries outside are definitely some type of salvage and should be carefully chosen and then eaten IMMEDIATELY (or as soon as you can manage). Sure, everything else in the market is priced pretty normally. But seriously, how did this neighborhood get so lucky? This is THE spot for very ripe groceries at an incredible price.

This place has a lot of cheap and great produce and a variety of other baked goods, worth checking out! Also, I didn't even realize that I gave the owner an extra $15. He was really nice and didn't shortchange me.
