They canceled the day before I was to have a cut and color for my annual vacation despite it being scheduled for over a week. Now I leave in two days with no time to schedule a new appointment. HOW INCREDIBLY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL.

I've gotten perms done before in the past at other salons but I wanted to treat myself this time by going to Atelier by Tiffany. I'm getting married this year so I need to make sure my hair looks good and is healthy. I scheduled an appointment with Mina based off of the Yelp reviews and she did not disappoint. The process took a long time because my hair was being difficult but in the end, I was really happy with my hair. Mina and Ryan made sure I was comfortable and really took care of me.

I got the haircut from Ssoonie a month ago. It stayed as great as its just cut and even better now! I love it, people still compliment my haircut after a month!

There are many rooms to relax & detox in. It's much more quiet & calm than other spas. A smaller soaking/scrub room than other spas but still super relaxing.

Chuck is INCREDIBLE! He has been doing my hair for years now, and when I was planning my wedding it was an easy choice for me to ask him to do my hair. He's always been so pleasant and wonderful to work with. He really takes the time to listen to his clients. He did an amazing job on my hair for my Hindu ceremony and reception. He was comfortable implementing the Indian jewelry and hair accessories for each event. He also did hair for several others at my wedding and they were all very happy with their results. I can't recommend Chuck enough. Thank you!!

I've stayed away from getting my hair cut by someone for quite a while. Having curly hair, I always walked out of a salon with some sort of bob with uneven layers, or was told I shouldn't get layers because it will bring out frizz. Well, I am so glad I made an appointment for a DevaCut. I walked out with a beautiful set of curls, all thanks to Myra. She did an amazing job, was incredibly personable, and was super helpful in explaining everything. I will certainly be making another appointment with her. Six years of being afraid on getting my hair cut have gone out the window. I'm so in love with the cut!!

TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. Set an appointment here at 9am (before they even technically opened-- their idea, not mine.) I got a confirmation text at 11pm the night before telling me stylist only takes cash so to show up with cash. That seemed kind of strange to me, but... Came in at 9am only to have the front desk woman seem completely clueless that there was an appointment. My stylist, whose name was Tinneke, showed up almost half an hour late. I explained that I needed my hair trimmed/neatened and my bangs trimmed. We agreed to styling a little more with an A-line. She asked me about the length (I came with it at roughly armpit length) and I said I wasn't attached to that length but wanted it "just above the shoulder." From here, things went really wacky. She portioned off the front of my hair and cut the A-line in the back. I could feel her cutting it a lot shorter but trusted her. She pauses as one point, and goes "you know, I'm gonna angle it a little more. We could stop here, but it's the difference between a grandma cut, and I'm sure you don't want that." I felt pretty unempowered to say anything. After finishing the back, she comes to the sides/front and indicates chin length hair. She asks if this is OK, otherwise she's going to have to angle it because of how short she cut the back, but according to her, that look is "really played" and something she obviously feels disapproving of. I'm basically stuck with hair MUCH MUCH shorter than "right above the shoulder," like I'd have originally liked. She then cuts it and points out it's actually going to be even shorter when it dries. At this point her next client has arrived at their scheduled time. She's running late and I can tell she's kind of rushing. She dries my hair and begins grabbing the sides and HEAVILY feathering it, which is something I for sure didn't ask for or approve. I leave the salon after paying $70 + tip with a hair cut I spend the next 12 hours trying to convince myself I like. Some of my hair has been cut to the tops of my ears. I finally break down in tears when I try to curl it (something I do pretty regularly.) I feel pretty embarrassed, especially as a cancer survivor who is REALLY sensitive about hair length after losing all of mine at one point. My SO and I contact the salon the next day and lodge a complaint. I receive a message expressing that the issue is, quote, "technically not their fault," and that they can put me in contact with the stylist they booked me with. When I call them back, the receptionist alternates between telling me I need to talk to Tinneke and then HEAVILY trying to sell me on booking with another stylist while reminding me that they're just a booking service and that they just lease space/not responsible for anyone's work. Like I'm going to trust them or are interested in their services again. The stylist is pretty unapologetic and doesn't remember the appointment seeming at all off or, apparently, my request for hair length. There is no sympathy for the fact that she took a lot of liberties, and the only thing she can offer is to "fix" it by cutting my hair again, with the tone that this is some kind of favor. The whole thing was really tone deaf to the fact that I basically got pressured into/surprised into a haircut I didn't ask for. I am most likely going to drop a ton of money on extensions because I'm super uncomfortable with the way my hair looks now. Thanks a lot, Mio salon!

Chuck is the kind of stylist I always dreamed of having, the kind who listens carefully to what you want, makes you feel completely taken care of, spares no time or effort to getting you to the results, is transparent along the way, and on top of it all is a wonderful person with a big heart who you enjoy getting to know over time. You get everything you pay for and much more, and I say that as someone who has always been frugal with spending on beauty.
