PanelCraft has had my car since Dec22 2023
I dropped my car off in good faith as this shop had a very good reputation and the work I've seen from their shop looked great!
Well I guess I'm not cool enough to get legit work done. As of today May 16th Panel Craft refused to return any of my calls. They have had my car for 6 months and it's still not completed.
The only time I've spoken with Brenden and Brianna they called me very passive aggressively blaming me for being rude to their father Dave, putting words in my mouth and straight up yelling at me because of some confusion with a lip ( that was never supposed to go on the car)
I was yelled at by Brianna saying "I NEVER WANTED TO WORK ON THIS CAR TO BEGIN WITH"
Brenden - "This car got slipped in through our Berkeley shop" ..... YEA BY YOUR Dad!!
Their Dad Dave took the car in!
If they never wanted to work on my car then they should have never sat on it for months, skuffed and prepped it for painting AND took checks from my insurance company.
The car was dumped into the lap of my mechanic for final assembly.
Nobody gave me a heads up the car had been moved. So when my insurance rep called two weeks ago Jordan started making up stories about me peeing money out of pocket.
Then I show up to find my car 1/2 way across town at a totally different shop!!
Panel Craft needs to get their act and business together.
Sure your friend who owns a family run body shop will always give me great work.
But the way they treat normal customer with legit insurance jobs is a direct reflection of their business!!
Refusing to take calls, blocking people numbers , taking checks for work that was not completed to the best of your ability and blaming the customer for your own mistakes when you can even open the instructions on how to install the bumper from Volkswagen we supplied or opening the correct box that that had the factory lip in it before calling and blaming the customer ??
This is par for the corse with Panel Craft!!
I was told two weeks ago to be patient and STFUp
Nobody from the shop has called me to address my car!!
The paint work and what this shop was actually paid to do!!

Hopefully you won't need them, but if you do need it, Oakland Panel Craft is the place to go! Brianna, Brendan, and team are the absolute best. I needed some body work done and ended up bringing my car to them given the positive reviews I saw. The quote they gave my was significantly lower than the first quote I got and they were great to work with throughout the process -- Brianna kept me updated along the way. The work was done in less than a week and my car came back sparkling new. I highly recommend Oakland Panel Craft!

After a stressful auto accident I needed a shop in my area that was capable of major repairs and also skillful at communication. From my first contact through the decision of total loss, Briana and also the team at the legacy shop, Panel Craft Berkeley, were expert communicators and careful advocates for my situation. Excellent communication with the owners. Very quick turnaround both times I have gone to Oakland Panel Craft. Reasonable prices and quality work. Highly recommended if you need body work done in Oakland/ Berkeley/ Emeryville.

My understanding is that Panel Craft one of the very few family-owned body shops in the East Bay and I wish I would have discovered them years ago which would have probably saved me a lot of time and headache. They have worked on both of my P-cars and the results have always been outstanding. After a recent major body damage service, I had to return to have a small applique replaced which had a slight but visible defect. I decided that I might as well have them order/replace others that had faded over time, which had nothing to do with the original claim work. I also had them investigate and resolve some sunroof issues. I was fully expecting to pay for the extra work and parts that had nothing to do with the original claim; however, Brianna told me with a smile that they would not be charging me as consolation for having to bring my car back. Talk about pleasantly surprised! Not only do they do the best quality body work in town and treat me like a VIP client they also make me feel like a friend! As a professional who works in the Customer Experience industry, Brianna and Brendon are the paragon!

Brenden and Brianna and the team at Panel Craft did a great job on the repair after my Bimmer was keyed, ugh. Anyway, I had a pleasant experience with them and they've been accomodating. I wqs referred tonthem by a good friend at Berkeley Bob's. I would recommend PC.

Brenden and Brianna are absolute pros. They are experts at what they do and consummate professionals. They pay attention to the details.They replaced my bumper and it looks as good as new! I wish the rest of the car looked as good! I know I drove Brianna a bit crazy, but she handled my requests with aplomb.I highly recommend Oakland Panel Craft.
