When fresh the bread deserves 5 stars, more than half the time it feels at least 2-3 days old for the prices they charge you would think they would serve same day made bread. Please note their hours defer on Saturdays and Sundays.

Cake tasted good, but we had to wait a few minutes to get help inside the bakery and also.. the homeless outside , leaving in a van makes it scary. Hope they move away.. they may be scaring customers away and is unfair for the business.

All the bread I purchased this morning was stale and hard. I hoped by going in the morning they would have a selection of fresh bread. I will not be going back.

Best Mexican bakery in Oakland

November 2020 by Sayra Ramos
It is the only place in Oakland where they make you fresh and rich cakes with little sugar, the best in all of Oakland. I have always bought my cakes here since I used to buy them in my town or at the favorite pastry shop, etc. But the truth is that they make too many sweets and this is the best place to order cakes. Even when you call for the same day, they get you out of trouble, and they make them exactly as you request. They also sell the best freshly baked bread and little sugar. Mexican and Guatemalan bread. I highly recommend you go to this place. You want to eat delicious bread. Even though this place is quite hidden. Many people come, because of the quality and because it is very clean.

Very slow service, only has 1 employee working. I came to order a cake and it took them 35 minutes to attend me . Then when I came to pick up my order it wasn’t ready & waited another 30 mintiera prior to the time I told them I need it ready for .

Esta bien Rico el pan Mexicano aqui. I baught the Guatemalan bread and it was ok. It tasted so much better when dipping it in my horchata latte. The Mexican bread with the coconut flakes it's delicious. Very fresh bread overall. Prices are high but it's the Bay Area. The horchata latte is milky and not to sweet. Has a nice hint of nutmeg flavor with cinnamon.

A real Mexican bakery! Very hidden and unexpected area. The pastries are fresh and made with care and detail. I can taste the love. They sell made to order cakes as well. The lady at the counter was helpful and friendly. Worth our drive to gather some goodies.
