Elvia is FANTASTIC!! She did my hair very pretty! I actually went there for get the hair straightening but she looked my hair and been super honest! My hair is shiny and also already straight just some on my bangs little wavy. So she recommended just get some haircut then that will make it look nicer! But I wanted to get lil more changes so I decide also get some highlights too. Even choosing color she really knows hair SO Well!! So I just leave it up to her and the results are Fantastic!! And I really appreciate her not all about the money. She is super honest and super professional and even taught me how to style my hair. Anyways it is so long review but Because it was pretty impressive this place is. They even so cautious with COVID too so how they schedule for clients I personally very appreciate it.

A neighbor recommended Elvia. I had pretty bad growth in my blonde roots and it took longer than anticipated. She did such a wonderful job! My hair is nice and icy, not yellow/brassy or that grey tone. I will be back! Thanks so much.

Prez was so kind to me after experiencing a traumatic experience caused by another stylist resulting in hair loss. She squeezed me in last minute so that I wouldn’t have to walk around with bald patches in my hair and gave me so much confidence during the service. 10/10 recommend

I see Elvia and she is AMAZING! I love her so much, she really listens to what you are wanting which doesn't always happen I've found when it comes to hair services. She listens to what you want and I feel like she totally gets what I'm looking for. She is really knowledgeable, and has transformed my hair and gotten it healthy again after color damage that I had. She's done a few treatments on my hair like the crystal gel treatment I believe it's called that I can't recommend enough, it will strip off build up on your hair so you will have shiny bright and soft hair again. I always look forward to my next hair treatment.

I love my haircut! Sylvia did a great job with my hair. I have curly hair (combination 3B and 3A curls). I was little nervous because curly hair is a bit of a specialty. Not every stylist can cut it correctly. My hair now falls perfectly into place and I'm happy.

This was my first time at Skye Salon and my experience was fantastic from start to finish. The salon was beautiful, comfortable, and clean. Elvia really took her time to understand exactly what I was hoping to achieve overall with my highlights. It had been months since my last highlight and my roots were out of control to say the least. Elvia was so meticulous in how she placed the foils, watching each section carefully to ensure they would not over process. She took her time to explain each step and why doing a specific task would achieve my overall goals for my hair. I will definitely be back and will be referring all my friends!

I love Marleny, who is the only person I trust with my hair. The first time I came to her two years ago, my hair had been totally fried and hacked up by a stylist at another Berkeley salon. I had resigned myself to a future of split ends, static cling for hair, and weird splotchy coloring. In one visit, she performed a total miracle (see before and after pictures), fixed the color and got it all shiny and soft. Over the past two years, she's kept my hair healthy, made it blonde and now helped me turn it an awesome shade of red. She always seems to know what I want to do with my hair before I do and I love chatting with her during my appointments. She's the best!

I went to Jeannine for a cut and color and I love it! I had never colored my hair before and didn't know much about it. Jeannine was absolutely amazing, she educated me on different tones and patiently answered all of my questions. I'm in love with my hair color. I've received a ton of compliments and questions regarding where I got my hair done. I'm very picky about my hair as well and really reluctant to try new things because my hair is prone to breakage. She showed me blow drying and flat ironing techniques to help maintain healthy hair, she also recommended some products that my hair is loving. My hair is much less frizzy and full of body. I can continue to praise my experience with her, I wish I could give her 10 stars!
