Test Only Smog Station-Star Smog Station is a no-frills, smog-test-ONLY station in Temescal, just down the street and around the corner from the DMV. It is a very convenient location, right off of Hwy 24. Service is quick, easy, and efficient, often with no wait time for walk-ins. The test itself takes only about 15 minutes. The staff is speedy and helpful, though interactions can be brief. There is a comfortable waiting lounge with a coffee machine and water. Customers should be sure to ask for the $30 discount from the website coupon before service begins. This spot gets the job done reliably, especially for those in a pinch.
