Waiting for a package to arrive and have been watching the USPS Tracking all day to make sure there are no delays. Just got an update 1 min after the expected arrival date saying 'No Access to Delivery Location'.
The gate is open and I was here the entire time, no one attempted to deliver this package.
This kind of unprofessional gaslighting happens far too much by the USPS. It's as if the DMV started delivering packages. ... We should have let the USPS disappear back in 2020 when it was on the brink.
Two stars is for the actual mail woman who is friendly and does her job well. It's the management of this local branch and of the USPS itself that needs to evolve or go away for good.

Terrible experience every time Avoid at all cost!
Wont open the doors on time, 20 mins late seems to be the norm, Wont answer the phone and best part is they wont even deliver your package but will say they did.
I have video proof that nothing was delivered each time ive had a order threw usps oakland. They drive past and state it was delivered. I know my order was sent in a box with the company logo on it making it easy to tell what the item may be which leads me to belive they pick and choose what they want to keep for themselves. This isnt just a random lost package. I dont order often but the few times ive made the mistake of having it sent to my address has been the same experience. Large items too, not easy to lose boxes! The usps personnel in Oakland Ca are rude and incompetent thieves. If i could give zero stars i would.

We have provided the truck number and telephone number, but the person in charge of the front desk is very old-fashioned and requires the same name to pick up the piece.

If I could give ZERO STARS I would the mail carriers out of this office need to fired whoever is in charge is out of line,I have been waiting on a EXTREMELY IMPORTANT PARCEL since the 11th it is the 18th my paycheck is in danger of being garnished I haven't received any mail in 2wks this is pass unacceptable I will be making a real complaint to the State of California...ZERO STARS.

So unprofessional went in today 6/30/23 to pick up or intercept my package that was supposed to be delivered today instead of helping or checking they dismissed me like I was wrong for wanting my package or insulted me like couldn't read or comprehend my tracking information it said it was at the post office....they should just close this place or train or hire new people no type of customer service zero stars

The black ladies inside the post office have zero customer service, I drive to the office to get my package because I won’t be available the day it supposed to deliver , she ask for tracking I gave then another black lady told me she won’t be able to get my package , why did you even ask the tracking in the first place , complete laziness.

This post office is located on MacArthur Boulevard down the street from where I live. They normally have two to three workers at one time and I haven't had too many problems coming here to buy money orders and stamps. Lunch is from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. so normally there's one person working at this time.

It's nasty x infinity... the physical building as well as the postal clerks. Rude! The place is rundown look like it was built in the 1950s and nothing has been done to it... And the clerks are just rude and impatient. Just because they're government employees doesn't mean that they're indispensable. Totally nasty place and nasty experience.

The African American ladyin the office has zero customer service, she has an attitude an very aggressive most of the time, I don't recommend this office at all
