This store is the most ridiculous I've ever seen. It doesn't help you at all. I went there, spent 3 hours waiting for help and nothing. The manager doesn't help you at all. I don't know why, but it's the most ridiculous I've ever seen.

I had a great service experience here! The store was busy but I had an appointment, so staff checked in with me and fixed me up with a new SIM card. Thank you Shaakira! Verizon service representatives online weren’t able to help me, so I’m thankful there was a physical location I could go to.

Very unclear from their listing on Google Maps, but this is non a corporate Verizon store. It is an authorized reseller that pays for the privilege of using the Verizon name and logo. As such, they cannot assist with many basic tasks, such as phone trade-ins.
Seemed like a friendly and helpful staff, and I’d suggest it for people that need a lot of assistance setting up their phones.
However, I waited for 30 minutes only to be told they couldn’t help me because I didn’t buy the phone at their store. It didn’t feel respectful of my time and I can’t suggest this store for most people

Not helpful at all. I went in and it took a little to be helped and then the woman who was going to help me started helping the person who came in after me until I made her aware that I was actually next in line. I told her I was a teacher and that I had recently applied my discount to my family's plan and just wanted to make sure everything was showing up correctly. She just asked me how long ago I had applied and I told her 2 days ago and she said it's too early and that it'll show up in 2 bill cycles. I asked her how long that could be and she kept repeating, probably 4 times, that it was up to 2 bill cycles. I finally said, that I understand that it's up to 2 bill cycles, but that's not clearing anything up for me. Should I expect it one month from now? 2 months from now? And she finally said up to 2 months from now, but I swear to god it was like pulling teeth for an answer that could have taken 2 seconds. Extremely disagreeable experience. She didn't have any sort of identification, but she looked like a bitter old woman. Will not be coming back to this location.

I went to Oakland Lakeshore Verizon office at 6:30 pm last week. The door was locked. The female worker said after 6:30 is by appointments only. The hours on the website shown close at 7pm. She said they are under staff. She and another staff were helping 2 customers already. I would have to come another day. I told me I can wait in case she finished with her customer earlier, perhaps she can help me. She said no. I have to come back another day. There was no sign anywhere indicating on the front door that is by appointments only after 6:30 pm. She was absolutely unaccommodating!

I used to have a very good service from Verizon in this store. But recently the management and people who work there have changed. The service is awfuls and people work there have a very sick and bad attitude. Why Verizon replaced good people with some stupid, sick and full of complex is my question!

This place is a menace to our neighborhood. They installed a motion sensor alarm that sounds like an air raid siren, and can be heard for half a mile in all directions. It goes off over a dozen times, at completely random intervals, from 7PM to 7AM every night. They have no consideration for the community around them. I haven't slept in 4 days. Not to mention that if an actual emergency happens, our neighborhood likely won't be alerted since this terrible business with zero care for the community has us all hearing a constant air raid siren.

So much unnecessary attitude in here, and they tried to charge me extra to reactivate my eSIM card after returning a trial phone. When I protested, they acted like there was nothing they could do and had me call the 800 customer service line while I was still in the store. 30 minutes later my eSIM card was reactivated with no extra charge.
