I went to Oakland Lakeshore Verizon office at 6:30 pm last week. The door was locked. The female worker said after 6:30 is by appointments only. The hours on the website shown close at 7pm. She said they are under staff. She and another staff were helping 2 customers already. I would have to come another day. I told me I can wait in case she finished with her customer earlier, perhaps she can help me. She said no. I have to come back another day. There was no sign anywhere indicating on the front door that is by appointments only after 6:30 pm. She was absolutely unaccommodating!

I used to have a very good service from Verizon in this store. But recently the management and people who work there have changed. The service is awfuls and people work there have a very sick and bad attitude. Why Verizon replaced good people with some stupid, sick and full of complex is my question!

This place is a menace to our neighborhood. They installed a motion sensor alarm that sounds like an air raid siren, and can be heard for half a mile in all directions. It goes off over a dozen times, at completely random intervals, from 7PM to 7AM every night. They have no consideration for the community around them. I haven't slept in 4 days. Not to mention that if an actual emergency happens, our neighborhood likely won't be alerted since this terrible business with zero care for the community has us all hearing a constant air raid siren.

So much unnecessary attitude in here, and they tried to charge me extra to reactivate my eSIM card after returning a trial phone. When I protested, they acted like there was nothing they could do and had me call the 800 customer service line while I was still in the store. 30 minutes later my eSIM card was reactivated with no extra charge.

O stars for Lakeshore Verizon. They were going to email my receipt. They didn't due to "privacy issues!" I went to get a copy of receipt but the manager couldn't find it! I'll never ever buy anything at Verizon! They are the worst of the worst!

I went to add a new line to my current plan and after 15 minutes she came up with a plan that she said included free Disney and Hulu and also phone protection, after reviewing the plan I noticed that there were different charges for different numbers, some had $57 a month and some $37, when I asked for the reason she said it was a mix and match offer which dusht make sense, then I noticed that the Disney plan was $10 extra a month and phone protection was $17 a month, total bill was going to be $326 a month, while I was there I went online and got the same plan for $194 and I ordered the phone to be picked up at the same store. I told the rep that I ordered online and I’m supposed to pick up the phone and it says it takes 15 minutes, she said it will take a few hours and I should come back by 6pm, it was 1pm at that time. I knew she was pissed because I didn’t order it with her so she made sure I had to wait. That’s pathetic

I have never experienced such poor customer service. I am moving and Verizon seemed faster than ATT at my new location so I attempted to switch to Verizon. My internet device was never delivered yet I got a bill for it. This is ILLEGAL . I had to chat with 4 customer service agents to cancel my account, one of them told me I would be charged for the device that was never delivered. Nobody spoke english as their first language and it was like pulling teething to get the issue resolved. Do not use Verizon. The NFL has made a big mistake by partnering with them. I had such a bad experience that I would honestly pay for your NFL sunday ticket though Youtube so you don't have to deal with Verizon. They are the worst.

Usually my go-to Verizon store. This last service experience was adequate. Past visits have been much better. I went in panicked and left the same way. I had the bare minimum explained to me and didn't really get much information about my new phone. For example, I didn't know it had a built-in stylus until 3 days after I had it. If I go back and those same employees are working, I'll go to a different Verizon store.

Save yourself the time and energy and go to another Verizon store, I recommend the store on Piedmont Ave
