I love this little market. It has everything you would expect at a convenience store plus a lot more, including produce. I typically stop here for snacks, wine, or just for something I forgot to grab at the supermarket. One of the things I like best about this place is the extensive wine and beer selection as well as the fact that every single wine bottle has a price sticker on the top of it so I'm never wondering.

Terrible service and the cashier tried to scam me! I shop at this market consistently and there always seems to be a problem with one of the cashiers there. He is tall and was working today. He tried to double charge me! This isn't the first time that he has done this before and he will never give me my receipts either. He always tries to throw them away and I have to keep telling him that I want my receipts. It wouldn't be such a big deal if he hadn't done this before on multiple occasions, while also consistently given attitude towards me for no apparent reason! Especially after I ask for my receipts. Watch out when you go there and when you run into him. Make sure they don't do the same to you. Whoever that weirdo is should be ashamed!

They were playing classical music when I walked in...A hard YES from me already. Way more variety/options than your typical corner store and the guy at the register was friendly too!

Great selection of snacks. Had more varieties of Kind bars and protein bars than I have seen in a larger chain store. There is produce, dairy, frozen and essentials like deodorant.

I LOVE WOODMINSTER MARKET!wether its driving down joaquin miller to grab some chocolate chips in a baking emergency, or walking up lincoln from school to get an icecream sandwich and a dr pepper, i freaking love woodminster. prices are cheap, food is good. Love, love love

This market has improved a lot since pandemic. They have great selection of fresh produce and very nice selection of beer and wine ! Owner and cashiers are very friendly. Love the new painted walls !!

This long-standing brick and mortar grocery has come a long way in the last few years. Beer and wine selection has exploded and rivals some of east bays top bottle shops/natural grocers. Most all Bay Area breweries have real estate in their expansive beer fridge, and hard to find craft beer from all over the US is rotated through with new offerings every week! The Belgian, cider, hard kombucha, stout and sour selections are the best beers from around the world. Whoever curated that beer set is a king among men :)The wine isn’t too shabby either, with all varietals represented and most countries top import varietals covered. Prices are respectable on both beer and wine and their fridge is super cold!Food offerings have also improved significantly, with many local prepared food (Shakti Indian, grand bakery & small scale meats- Fluggers bacon and urban flavors gourmet sausage, pacific culture krauts and kombuchas)Wide variety of fresh produce at good prices with a fair amount of organic items.Snacks range from typical c-store offerings to stuff that you would find in a specialty grocer. Ice cream selection is pretty sweet and candy set is the bomb. Wide variety of frozen foods with about every Amy’s frozen productExtensive selection of basic hygiene products and household goods, Lazzari Firewood & Charcoal, even some clothing and sport team hats.Most importantly the family that runs this store is the salt of the earth. They treat customers with respect, keep the store clean, open on time, and strive to provide unique offerings for the neighborhood.It’s most definitely a next level corner store, can’t wait to see what the future holds for Woodminster.

First, let's state the obvious. It's a mini-mart so prices will be more expensive than your bigger stores. You're paying for convenience. At times if I need a few things, I'd rather support the local market than the corporates. Plus, I don't have to deal with parking, I use less gas, and I don't have to deal with solicitors...or those cookie slangin' Girl Scouts. This market has the best selection of craft beer around. It can't be beat. They've upped their gourmet game as far as snacks, and have a decent stock of good wine. The staff here is good now, as well as the service. This market has been around for a long time, has changed for the better, and these guys like to hear feedback, so if you have something to whine about, let them know. I for one don't mind paying a few more bucks for convenience and some higher quality goods. Plus..I'm supporting my local small business. I just wish they'd do something about the ghetto book store/ex-gas station next to the burger joint.
