“I love the freshness of their produce. Easy to park, get in and get what you want and get out. Short lines if there are any at all. They accept credit and debit cards so I can go even without cash. I just wish they were open longer and offered winter veggies.”

“Excellent ranch! We had a fun time! My first time cherry picking and had a great experience at this ranch. It was huge with plenty of shade and ladders. Some cherry variation are better than others but there was plenty of cherries! I can't wait to go back!”

“What can I say we have grown fondly of this place.. Today is there last day until they reopen in August. Over that last months we frequently have come toPick cherries, apricots, peaches, figs, corn, tomatoes and other stuff. The people who run the place are super friendly and they have a dog named Canelo who is a doberman and he so sweet and friendly as may even greet you as you drive in and park. I definitely will be back.”

“Such a pleasant experience. A family farm, very simple setup. We picked thornless blackberries and cherries. We went on Friday - no crowd at all. They put our blackberries in the cooler since they are so delicate while we went out farther for cherries. Many varieties of cherries, with both mature trees and young, small ones. We picked Rainier, Cassidy, and another variety I can't remember. Corals were in another area, but we had picked so many already, we didn't bother heading over there. But we saw those trees on the way out, and they were mature and FULL of fruit. Plenty of ladders around to reach the high fruit, and PLENTY of delicious cherries on the trees. One of the owners stopped by to point out the best trees to pick from - they were all so friendly and helpful. We brought a few our own containers and they were fine with that. They also used paper bags for the cherries we picked in their bucket - much gentler on the fruit than plastic bags! There are picnic tables in the shade and even a large tortoise outside! Cherries & blackberries were $4/lb. Cash only!!”

“Very big cherries this year! We came to pick the first opening weekend on a hot Sunday and got there around 10:30 before the sun became scorching. We chose this orchard bc they had raniers and we've been here in the past and the trees are abundant in cherries. There were some trees that were hybrids so the branches had some red and white ones which were amazing!! We picked 20 pounds and gobbled them up during the week and gave some out”

“Maggiore has 4 different sites. Just went to the 2251 Camino Diablo Rd location. Excellent Coral and Brook cherries, lots of them in low hanging clusters, and large, can still be found towards the back of the orchard. I picked 11 lbs of cherries just off of 3 trees in no time. They were sweet, juicy, slightly tangy.”

“This is a cute farm stand with lots of fresh organic produce. They offer u-pick peaches, cherry tomatoes and flowers. It has a playground, chickens, and ducks. The playground it not shaded, so on a hot day it can be a bit warm for parents. But overall, we had a wonderful experience.I felt like the cherry tomatoes were reasonably priced. I think I paid $7 for 2 lbFor reference, I got just under 2 lb at FoodMaxx for $6 And there's no match for the flavor of fresh picked tomatoes.”

“Love that they have fresh strawberries for u to pick an it's a decent size patch. It was $0.50 for a cardboard box and $4.00 lb with a minimum of 2 lb so you'll be spending at least $8.50 for a decent amount of strawberries. Hey have oher fresh vegetables at their stand.”

“For farm-fresh fruit and produce that U-pick or Pre-picked, Brentwood has been the destination spot. I've never visited these farms for produce and fruit picking and when my friend asked me to join her for peach picking, I was looking forward to it. We came to Wolfe Ranch Peaches, which she has visited annually for years. Checking in at their stand, Cathy, the owner, said they currently have Suncrest peaches for picking as the White peaches were about another week away picking. We got boxes and carts to take out to the field for the peaches we picked. The yellow peach trees were on the left five rows and we looked for the nice large peaches to pick. I thought I would be climbing ladders, but the trees were all about 9-10 ft tall and the peaches were about 3 to 8 ft off the ground. It was easy picking the peaches. After we picked our peaches, we wheeled our cart back to the stand. Cathy weighed our peaches and you pay by cash or check. We visited a couple of farms afterwards, Wolf Ranch had the lowest price at $1.85 lb. It was a fun experience and I'd visit Wolfe Ranch for peach picking again.”

“I love this market--I'm glad I don't have to drive all the way to Concord to get some authentic Asian groceries. They have a lot of fresh seafood, fruits and vegetables and their dry goods is also reasonable.”

“Frog Hollow farm is the kind of business I love to support. Their regenerative farming practices and care for the land are clear in everything they do. I purchased a deluxe gift box for my dad's birthday and called him tonight as he unwrapped it. The pomegranates, persimmons, and kiwis arrived in perfect condition—"like a work of art," he said. Thanks to Frog Hollow for sharing your harvest.”

“So I don’t know much about the farm but I do know it’s female owned and operated! Which makes me happy. I showed up at 7:30 pm to attend Baby Goat Yoga (which I highly recommend). I immediately got a great vibe with the brightly painted barn and sky blue house. Let’s go back to goat yoga. Basically it’s yoga floor moves with darling baby goats that pose for pics and want to be cuddled. It’s just another way to be at one with the earth. I throughly enjoyed my instructor and the environment.”
