Raley's has become my main grocery food shopping destination. They have everything you need. A great selection of meat, shelf stable merchandise, and even hygiene & house cleaning items. They're way more affordable than Sprouts and still have the same or similar health food brands at half the price. Raleys pays fair living wages to their employees. So I'm glad I made the switch.

Reducing a $15 meat purchase approaching it's Sell-Buy date by 50 cents is not much of a bargain. A single open checkstand with several customer baskets in line discourage customers with a few items in hand. On a positive note, I watched the Security confront a shoplifter on a bicycle in the parking lot as he stood chest to chest with him. Never touched him, but didn't back down. "You don't shoplift in MY store!"the Security commanded. The shoplifter threw the stolen bottle of booze on the ground and left. Security was professional and commendable.

Horrible prices, a serious joke of a meat department and a stupid required app to be installed and setup with a long pain in the rear prep before use... Making sure they have ALL your data to share with whoever they want to sell it to. I'm going to Luckys.

The best meat department around. Everything is fresh, clean, and organized. There is always a great selection making meal time choices an easy pick. If they don't have it they can get it. The produce could be a little fresher sometimes. Other than that the center piece of the table is here.

I wouldn't give any stars if I could. I went to the deli to get an item. The lady had her back to me so I waited a minute. Her name is Peg. Nothing, so I asked for help. I heard something but she didn't turn around. So I asked again and still heard something but no recognition. She didn't turn around. So this time I was a little louder and she turned around and yelled I'll be with you in a second. So I responded and said I asked you twice for help and said twice I couldn't hear you. She was extremely rude. I left and went to check out and mentioned this to a checker. I then asked for a manager and he was very helpful and gave me the pasta for free. I appreciated that. BTW the next customer that came up Peg said hi in a very friendly manner. I just wish I'd gotten that service.

Ordered and paid for a cake 2 weeks in advance.Go pick up and find out not made. This is best they could do. Better than nothing I know but having what was ordered would have been best. Never going here again

We were only here because we are nearby for a wedding. We struggled to find a few things but the place was big and clean and the people were very friendly. If I am in this area again I will definitely come visit this store again

Asked for a pastrami sandwich... not a vegetable sandwich. Wish they didn't skimp on the meat! Still tastes good though.

This review is about the bakery section, not the rest of the store (just to clarify). That being said, the Raley's bakery has been my go-to for birthday and special occasion cakes for years. However, I've noticed a huge decline in quality over the last year. Yesterday I went in to get a cake for my son who had just graduated. I spotted a "chocolate decadence" cake in the case and let the lady behind the counter know I was interested in purchasing it. She goes to get it out of the case, looks at it, and tells me "no, sorry this is too old and is expired. I can't sell this to you." It's, of course, the only chocolate decadence cake they have, so I'm left standing there trying to figure out what cake to get instead. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal. One expired cake isn't the end of the world and the bakery lady is right not to sell old cake. However, this is actually the *fourth* time this has happened to me at this Raley's location. That's right, the fourth freaking time!My question is, why are all these cakes being kept in the case so long that they have to refuse customers who want to purchase them? Also, why aren't the cakes being checked and removed *before* customers are in the store? Like why aren't they being checked in the morning, before the store opens??? Also, if this has happened to me on four separate occasions, throughout the year, how often is it happening in general? Something needs to be done. This isn't okay.
