“This is a late review. I went in I believe it was Tuesday or Wednesday. I wasn't having my best day & I needed to get my car fixed. The service was great from the moment I walked in the door. Very friendly & professional. I knew something was loose underneath my car but the problem was worse than I thought, I had to get a whole new subframe. I believe since I was in the waiting room they took the time to show me what was wrong under the vehicle and I appreciated that, a lot of shops might break it down for you but they don't physically show you. You kinda just gotta trust they word. I'm pretty sure they could tell I was having a stressful day, I had to leave and come back multiple times and they worked with me and gave me a good price as well. They don't just take your money they actually care about the people they work with & try to do what's best for you. I was very happy with the experience I had. Fixing my car & just talking with them definitely made my day a little better. Just like the people this place is awesome and it's a one stop shop for a lot of your regular car needs. I will be coming back for oil changes and other work that's needed. Thanks again for helping me get back to mobbin around!”

“We have a 95 Chevy Silverado and it had a big hole in the muffler. We were asking around and were given a few places. We decided on one place in Brentwood but unfortunately they said they were too busy and referred us to another place in Brentwood, but they were closed on Tuesdays and we really wanted to get this done. My husband remembered driving down Byron Highway and seeing Borden Junction. So I gave them a call. The lady answering was extremely nice took all our info and made an appointment. I am so glad the other places were too busy and not available because the service we received at Borden Junction was great. Every person we talked to was so nice and professional. They gave us a very good price for our muffler and installation and had it done so fast. And there is a smog shop on the same property. So after our muffler was installed they took it next door for us and it was smogged as well. We would definitely recommend.”

“My 1988 Ford 5-speed manual transmission vehicle was in need of its' shift linkage bushings being replaced. Several local auto repair shops were not interested in this work. Fortunately, I contacted A-1 transmission who could not do an upfront quote for the repair on an old car but took the car in and contacted me after they had a chance to look at it. Replaced the bushings in a day at a good price. I've driven it now for two months, about 1000 miles, shifts into gear like new. Recommend this shop for any work related to transmissions or shifting issues, as in my case. I plan to return again for my CV axle drive shaft replacement, so look for a new review on that experience.”
