We stayed in a room at the top, with a balcony that overlooked the tiny town of ve. Rooms are well appointed, quiet, and comfortable. The breakfast is great with coffee shops, wine-a-plenty and Hazel's restaurant nearby. So good.

The Inn at Occidental is a favorite. It is in a beautiful part of California amongst the redwoods and near the Russian River. We love to come here and enjoy the quiet, slower pace. It is accessible to other small towns on the coast as well.

The owners and staff make feel at home. Very cute and calming courtyard. Great place to retreat to after a day at the beach or out hiking.
