“You can find a nice burger grill inside this store. ( Burgers n More ) Pick up some good eats and a cold one right from the case. They make a peanut butter and jelly cheese burger that has some of the best custom crafted jam I've ever tasted. You can even buy a jar if you want.”
“I live in Visalia and often drive to the coast for work, every chance I get to stop for lunch at JJ’s market is an awesome experience, they have a great selection of deli products and I absolutely love their selection of cheese.”
“A NY style Bodega store but without the cat! Easy in & easy out. Seems like a family owned business. A well stocked & small convenience store that sells staples like chips, candy, sodas, lottery tickets, and over-the-counter remedies. Very good liquor section. Lots of parking. People are friendly. Not sure if it’s open 24/7. Easy to find & get to.”
“This was a nice overnight and lunch stop from Los Angeles to San Fransico. We were amazed in the store. We ordered two delicious salmon sandwiches and a turkey. We also took a chocolate chip cookie with us for the road. Definitely worth a visit!”
“Their sandwiches are deliciously amazing. You can taste the super fresh ingredients. I asked for a lettuce wrapped tuna and it’s one of the best ones I’ve had. Just can’t beat their prices. I got to work through it on a sun dried tomato wrap it’s just too good to not brag about! ?”
“I will occasionally start running low on gas on the way to SLO, this place saves me every time. Parking can be a bit difficult if you need to stop in to the store, but the prices on gas are always some of the best in the area.”
“Did not come here expecting discount prices. It's a convenience store! I came here for one thing, a 12 pack of Pacifico. They had both cans and bottles. What more can I ask for? Guy behind the counter was cool. No complaints from me.”
“Great place to get a quick bite to eat. Nice hot food section. The only disappointment is the fried chicken and wings. Always dry and overcooked. Salad bar, prepacked salads, sandwiches, burritos, ribs, ECT.”
“Me and my buddy tried 5 wine tastings for 15 bucks. We've never really tried wine before but the man there explained everything very well and was very kind it was a fun experience.”
“They sell my favorite MMC mango rim paste and the Mexican candy they sell is super good! The guy I was chatting with was super nice and friendly. We talked about alcohol and he has some great recommendations! He recommended the Wall Street candy Chamoy Melons and it was a game changer! The staff is very helpful and the store is very clean and welcoming! Definitely will be back!”
“My husband and I were having trouble finding a liquor store open on New Year's Eve due to power outage new our hotel. We're happy we found this place and had a very good selection of my favorite drinks.”
“Damien is the best! Dude went out of his way to help my family. We are from out of town and needed help, definitely delivered :) will be back whenever we are in town!”
“Cheapest gas I could find at the time.
Coming from Florida and driving across the country the cheapest gasoline I purchased was under $3 and the most expensive, until we got to California, was under $3.65”
“The workers are always kind, and they carry several basic necessities along with typical station products. It is located in a tight spot, but it is on the corner, and you can easily access and use their parking. I take my children here often to get treats/drinks when we are heading to the beach.”

“We love this deli and grocery. The food is fresh and there are some truly gourmet options. We usually all order a custom sandwich (Proscuitto is my go-to), and add a lovely side salad to round out the order. Make no mistake: this isn't subway. This is truly a top-of-the-line deli experience, with a dessert selection that's worth the trip alone. Lemon cheesecake, Tiramisu, the list goes on and on (actually it doesn't because it's all fresh so get there early). This place is more than sandwiches, it's fresh pasta, wonderful salads and a choice selection of wines and beverages... not to mention McConnel's ice cream! If the family can't decide what to eat, take them to DePalo's where there's something delicious for everyone!”
“Avila Beach Market has all the basic food items you might need, but expect a steep markup. Downstairs they’ve got a spot that serves açaí bowls, which are refreshing on a hot day. I got the açaí base with strawberries, granola, and banana. It was good.
If you’re in a pinch and need something in Avila, it’ll do the job.”
“It's a liquor store...They do what you would expect. However, given their proximity to the beach, their prices could be much higher. The employees are all super nice, friendly, and welcoming. No reason not to go here, if you're trying to quickly pick something up before you go on the dunes.”
