The food was terrible quality and had no taste. I ordered steak fajitas, which had no flavor, and the quality of the steak was horrible. The margaritas barely had alcohol in them. Avoid eating at this place; there are much better options.

The service was great. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The food was just OK. Also, we did find a hair in our chips.

Hello! Went to old Juans last night (Friday 4/5/2024) with two teenagers. Please note we've come here for years as it was my Grandma's favorite place. I ordered the 2 chicken enchilada plate, one teen ordered a basic rice, cheese, and bean burrito, and the other teenagers ordered the two shrimp taco dinner. The server was harried and unfriendly, and this was with us knowing what we wanted with no subsitions. My enchiladas were....weird. Not hot at all. Just barely warm,no flavor, the chicken tasted rubbery, and there were some random pickled veggies on top of my enchiladas. The burrito was also super cold. The bright spot was the shrimp tacos as the teen said they tasted good and were hot. Out of respect for our years going there, we let them know that the food was cold and tasteless after we paid the bill. there response was they would let the chef know. I'm torn about going back. It's so cute inside, and usually, the food is decent. Sadly, last night, it wasn't. Shudder. I'm sad as that was a 100 dollar dinner but tasted like a 10 buck dinner.

Defiantly NOT Authentic but still so delicious. Stopped by on a very busy saturday and only waited 15 minutes to be seated so not too bad. The food ordered were really slow but luckily the server was re-filling the chips and salsa fairly quick. The drinks were really good and plenty of options of tequila. The decor was on nice from the cups to the tables. Overall my experience was good.

Food was good, service was good, and the restaurant ambiance is good, but I'm still waiting for the other half of my chimichanga. Honestly, there's not much to be negative about in regards to my recent visit. Everyone enjoyed their food and the service was prompt and our server kept the chips and salsa flowing. Seems like they place an emphasis on playing the food nicely as all the plates are very nice looking. The Bloody Mary underwhelmed me and honestly the portion of the chimichanga and other food items didn't match the price. I made fun of my kid for ordering a beans rice and cheese burrito but it ended up being 3 times the size of my baby-gap chimichanga.

I've eaten here a few times now. Overall, it's a good spot and not super overpriced. The food is decent, but not a super high quality restaurant. If you want great comfort food dining near the beach, this is your place. We had friendly service but not 100% accurate orders received. No struggles fixing issues. Tons of chips and salsa. Margarita, I swear, was a virgin Margarita even though we ordered it with their silver tequila. I ordered the fish tacos which always arrived quickly and were pretty tasty too. The dining experience matches the price. We fed 3 adults, 1 teen, and a 2 year old for around $120, including 2 large margaritas.Parking: Small lotKid-friendliness: Kids menu, high chairsWheelchair accessibility: Ramp to outdoor patio

Short version: Plastic saran wrap found in Enchilada. 0/10 would not recommend eating here.Service was good, and the atmosphere is clean and relaxed.Food: Chips & Dip were pretty good.Guacamole: Had the small for $10.29 and it's alright. It isn't much different from the stuff you could get from a local grocery store.Jalapeno Poppers: I don't recall the price, but absolutely not worth it. There is very little cheese in the jalapenos, and they were surprisingly bland and tasteless.Carnitas: Presentation makes it look quite fancy, but they aren't as crispy as expected. Bland, and more fatty pieces than I'd of liked. It comes with rice and beans which were good. The flour tortillas were dry and tasted stale, as of they'd been reheated a few times after being forgotten about.Combo Plate with Chili Relleno, Enchilada, and a Taco: large portion, ended up taking half of it home to eat. The Chili Relleno tasted not fresh, as if it had been frozen and then reheated. Taco was a step up from Taco Bell, but not something I'd really recommend. There was a chunk of plastic that looked like saran wrap embedded in the enchilada. Didn't find the plastic until getting home. Rice and beans were good.

My girlfriend and I come here quite a bit because we feel the portion sizes are good given the pricing and they also make a killer Margarita. I love their chilli Coronado and she likes their Burritos. We believe Jamie offers excellent service and is also a great bartender. The atmosphere is very comfortable and it could benefit with a little bit of updating and improving but then again the condition makes it pretty authentic. It's one of those local places that you love to go rather than being at a commercial spot.Parking: Abundant amount of parking all of which is free

Had dinner there last night. Food is fantastic as always, service how ever was very very bad. Wish they had their act together. Lousy service makes a Lousy dinner. We have eaten here over 10 years and we are sad how this restaurant has changed.

Love this Mexican restaurant. It is out favorite, we drive 29 miles one way, we love it so much. The food and drink are always excellent. You can taste each ingredient in your food. We highly recommend Old Juan's Cantina.
