Friendly and knowledgeable employees - this location offers the type of excellent service I am accustomed to as a long term customer of Bank of America. I've never been inside this location before but the teller who assisted me treated me like family and went above and beyond. She definitely redeemed the ridiculously poor experience I received at another location recently. I was in and out quickly! Ample parking in a private lot and very clean and well organized branch.

I went in to ask for a replacement card, I waited for a little bit and when the manager finally asked why I was there I told her. She then told me they don’t do that in the bank anymore, I would have to call in for it. So I called in and replaced it but when I asked them about it they said the banks just make up their own rules. What???

Horrible!!! They closed branch without notification or justification. Making an appointment to get to safe deposit box is a nightmare. I closed my mothers account and it remained a zombie account with 1 penny until we had to go back again to finalize the closure. Shame on Bank of America.

After notifying three departments regarding my deceased uncles account, and the bankers "writing notes" regarding his account I still must start from scratch with everyone I spoke to. Today, on my third in person meeting I wanted to transfer his funds to the estate account and instead of issuing me a check the "back house" needs to verify the information the front house provided and snail mail me a check. Another worry added, will it get lost or stolen? When will it arrive? No clear date. Apparently the back house of Bank of America doesn't trust the front house. I have experience with several banks and b of a is the worst of them all.

Needed to update some information for a trust account. I little dubious at first because I only had a copy of my driver's license and they were unwilling to accept my passport/original SS card/or certified birth certificate as proof of ID. (however, once my replacement drivers license arrived, they accepted my Costco card as acceptable secondary ID. What....?) This fact notwithstanding, we made an appointment with Banker Jennifer Flores to deal with some complicated account changes. She was remarkably thorough and made sure everything was perfect. Ms. Flores consulted with others as necessary to give us accurate information and set up the account so that we wouldn't have tangled tax issues with the change. Cheerful, reassuring, thorough, and professional. Very pleased with the service we received. Yes, the people behind us had to wait 20 minutes (sorry!), but it is worthwhile to make an appointment if you have an issue that requires extensive paperwork. I am reluctantly deleting a star for sensory overload. The bank is pleasant enough, but they really should get rid of the oversized and overloud TV. The blaring infomercials are very intrusive and annoying. If you ask nicely, they will turn it down.

Unfortunately I opened my checking account in 1977 at Ojai Bank of America. Over the years I have watched customer service deteriorate to a point that this branch should be closed. Last month I mailed in a deposit for $11500 with two endorsed checks and a deposit slip and then two days later I mailed in a deposit for $9500 with two more endorsed checks and a deposit slip. A week went by and the deposits never posted to my account. I had to scramble to come up with funds to cover the checks I had written and mailed out based on the funds being available in my account. After another few days I called the branch in Ojai and was informed that they stopped accepting mailed in deposits on Jan 1st and the deposits had been mailed back to me. I waited two weeks for the deposits to finally arrive in my mail box. Then I drove the deposits to the bank in person to finally deposit them. I will never forgive B of A for not calling me on the phone to say I needed to come in to make the deposits in person. Lazy, inept customer service hires that should stay home with mom and dad until they wake up one day as an adult. Unbelievable!!!!!!

You wait in line while the employees are talking to each other. They open one window if you are lucky. There can be lines of people and they still continue ignoring opening other windows. Don't bother calling this bank either. They do not answer the phone. Worst bank ever.

The employees are great & I'm always greeted with a smile. But whoever does the scheduling needs their head examined! I'm there 2 times a week and I've never seen more than 1 teller working at a time! What gives?

About 3 months ago, I cancelled my account with this bank. This week I decided to reopen my account and spent over 1 hour and a half having all aspects of an account I had very recently had being explained to me again. I understand that maybe this is protocol but it took up a lot of my day. Later in the week I was very upset to find out that the person I was working with at this branch had not correctly set up my online banking or transfers (the only thing I told her this account would be used for!). I had to spend another hour on hold with bank of america just to sort out things that I set up earlier in the week. I feel very disappointed and like my time was wasted. I will not continue to use this branch
