This is a wonderful place to heighten your appreciation of the gorgeous Ojai landscape. Dan’s paintings are masterfully done and the intimate atmosphere of his gallery includes a small working studio where you may catch him painting. He’s more than just a super painter, he’s a joy to talk with, generous, and kind.

Your gallery is a fantastic place to realize their higher levels of painting:
Soft, Ethereal, Majic Nataural colors,
Use of gentle contrast colors aka
Color wheel opposites.. Your paintings are definitely quite meditative.
I also asked them to study the way that you blend the soft strokes of your painting.
Of course acrylics are much different than Oils but it still helps for them to study a professional and a professional’s gallery

I visit Dan Schultz's Fine Art Gallery regularly to get my art fix for the month. He is always friendly, welcoming, and willing to discuss his latest paintings and projects with me. It is wonderful to see his fabulous landscapes up close and personal. I have several of his paintings, including one painted at my Ojai Pixie Tangerine grove in Ojai during a plein air painting class held here. I never get tired of the way Dan captures light and atmosphere, making me feel I'm right in the painting.

My first experience of Dan's art was in a visit to his Ojai gallery. There is nothing like the beauty of viewing good paintings live, so that was a great introduction to his work. I still remember the pleasure of that visit, and I've been a fan ever since.

Dan Schultz is an Ojai treasure! His gallery is a delight to visit with all of his stunning art on display. Stopped by the gallery and Dan was a gracious host. He was at his easel and he stopped to answer all our questions. He was friendly and with so much beautiful art surrounding us, and with some history about some pieces we couldn’t leave without taking a small piece with us. We will stop again next time we are in Ojai.

See an artist-at-work in his storefront studio. Dan will happily step away from the easel to explain his process and show you oil paintings, gouache, and even a few objets d’art by his kids. We were pleased to have walked around the corner from the downtown shops and discover high quality local art with paintings, prints and stickers for sale.

I have been lucky enough to participate in Dan’s painting workshops. We are so blessed to have his talent here painting the Ojai Valley. To say these workshops have changed my life is an understatement. He has taught me more than I could have ever expected. His patience and through explanations make it a pleasure to attend. We stumbled upon Dan’s fine art gallery while strolling around Ojai. Beautiful work, highly recommend checking it out. We also appreciated seeing his wife and children contribute to the creativeness. :)
