Drove from L.A. to meet friends for drinks. Called in advance and was told Neff's Bar and Jimmy's Pub do not take reservations; walk-ins only. Gate staff rudely turned us away when we arrived and wouldn't tell us why. I called the Inn and they said they're "not open today." They refused to give a reason (i.e. private event, wedding, etc). Their website says nothing about it. Great way to lose customers. Drove all the way from L.A. for nothing.

One of my favorite resorts in Southern California for a quick getaway. Ojai is a beautiful small city located in Ventura county. I absolutely love coming here year after year either for a daytrip or an overnight stay. I always chose Ojai Valley Inn cause it's the best . The perfect location with great amenities. The resort is very relaxing, with a wonderful spa, restaurants, coffee shop and bars. The pool areas are nice and fun to be at. The summer months are great here but have slightly higher rates per night. The spring and the fall season is beautiful with great landscaping and lots of activities for families. The food at the restaurants is fresh and delicious . Customer service is great. Overall a wonderful place to stay at any time of the year.

Expensive but amazing weekend away. Beautiful property with a golf course, spa, pools, and multiple restaurants on site. You can park your car and never leave the property for days. All the amenities you could ask for. Fire pits throughout. Live music outside on the weekends. Both upscale restaurants as well as some casual offerings as well. Many different types of rooms to choose from. Overall I highly recommend checking this place out on a special occasion if you have the budget!

First of all , we been here many times throught past 15 years or so and we were impressed with Decient renovation of the rooms, but since all lighting were upgraded, at least in our room, we had a numerous problems with lights going on and off itself , a specially at night time. Also shuttle service was little slow and food at Oaks was just so so, so at room dining. Tortilla soup got to go, to creamy and chicken sandwich ? did not have much flavors. But we enjoyed the prefixed menu restaurant Olivera menu and though it was a reasonable price .Most of all enjoyed Johnatan , massage therapist great hands techniques, but ones again prices for just 75 m massage was $315+service charge. I found that extremely expensive .Everything else we enjoyed, bathtub, cleaningness of the room and nice views. We will be back .???

I’ve been wanting to come here for years. The property was more beautiful than I expected. We ate at one of the restaurants and the food and wine were exceptional. I was there for two day conference, and the facilities were great. Our room was beautiful, but we had a problem with the heater and one of the sinks in the bathroom. Once I let management know they had somebody up to fix it within 20 minutes. They could not fix my heater and wanted to upgrade me to a better room, but I was leaving early the next day and didn’t feel like moving but they did try, I will definitely come back for another stayNoteworthy details: Well appointed rooms and very relaxing atmosphere

Wow, I am here on a business trip, it’s my last day, and I kind of don’t wanna leave. I’ve never heard of Ojai, I am not a high-end resort, patron usually, but that might change now. I’m gonna have to come back here and bring the family.

Title: A Perfect Retreat for a BabymoonMy girlfriends and I recently stayed at Ojai Valley Inn for a babymoon, and it was an unforgettable experience deserving of five stars. We were treated to a stunning fireplace suite with two queen-size beds, a luxurious deep soaking tub, and a separate enclosed shower. The fully furnished patio offered breathtaking views of the golf course and mountains, especially magical in the foggy mornings while sipping coffee.During our stay, we indulged in the family-friendly Pixie Pool and enjoyed delicious meals at various restaurants on the property. The chicken sandwich and pizzas from Jimmy’s Pub were outstanding, and breakfast and dinner at The Oak Restaurant were delightful. Libby's coffee was always a treat, and the Cobb salad from Pixie Café and french fries from Spa Café were equally satisfying. The staff at Ojai Valley Inn exceeded our expectations. From the friendly front desk staff to the attentive shuttle drivers who remembered our location on the property, everyone made us feel welcomed. Housekeeping was like magic, leaving delightful treats and ensuring our comfort throughout our stay. Special mention goes to Oliver, who assisted us at the Wallace Neff Heritage lounge.Overall, our stay Ojai Valley Inn was nothing short of perfection. We can't wait to return and create more beautiful memories. Thank you for an amazing experience!Rooms: The rooms are extremely luxurious and comfortable and make you never want to leaveNearby activities: There’s the downtown area of Ojai with lots of restaurants, as well as golfing and Lake Casitas in the areaSafety: I felt extremely safe as it did have quite a few stuff on property and SecurityNoteworthy details: Beekeeping experience

My girlfriends and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ojai Valley Inn for a baby moon, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Our fireplace mini suite exceeded our expectations with its spacious layout, two queen size beds, and luxurious amenities. The large deep soaking tub and separate enclosed shower added a touch of indulgence, while the fully furnished patio offered stunning views of the golf course and mountains. Waking up to the foggy mornings was a picturesque treat, especially while enjoying coffee on the patio amidst the serene surroundings. We made the most of the resort's amenities, enjoying the family-friendly pixie pool and indulging in delicious meals at the various restaurants. The chicken sandwich and pizzas from Jimmy's Pub were outstanding, as were the breakfast and dinner options at The Oak Restaurant. Special mentions go to Libby's coffee, the Cobb salad from Pixie Café, and the fantastic French fries from Spa Café. The exceptional service from the staff truly elevated our stay. From the welcoming front desk staff to the attentive shuttle drivers and magical housekeeping team, everyone went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The bartenders at Jimmy's Pub along with Oliver who assisted at the Wallace Neff heritage lounge stood out for their warmth and professionalism. Overall, our time at Ojai Valley Inn was nothing short of spectacular, and we're already looking forward to returning in the future. Thank you for an unforgettable experience.

It's an absolutely beautiful property, but sprawling and be warned if you are staying in one of the many rooms that are a 10-15 minute walk from the main lobby/restaurant area. They are horribly short-staffed, and the golf-cart shuttles that run around the property are extremely few and far between. Last night, the staff told us they would specifically call a shuttle to pick us up for our dinner at 7:20. We waited outside in the rain for 15 minutes, and not one shuttle came by, despite waiting at one of the designated shuttle stops. We ended up having to make the 10 minute trek in the rain to the hotel restaurant - the explanation being that they are short-staffed.There are plenty of positives about this inn - the food at the restaurants is hard to beat and the housekeeping also does an amazing job. But with a property of this size and at this price, you need to have reliable and regular transportation for your guests to get around.

I didn't have the pleasure of staying here, but I did attend an event here that was amazing. Staff was very busy to please, the grounds and venue were beautiful. I just hope to one day have the privilege of staying here soon.

The pictures on the website don’t do this little slice of heaven justice. The rooms are immaculately appointed, complete with a personal tablet, cozy bedding, Nespresso coffee maker, and a giant soaking tub. A fabulous fitness facility, spa, 4 pools, and great food make the resort a place you don’t need to leave. Just walking or biking the undulating paths around the property is the cherry on top of this wonderful experience.
