The Ojai Valley Museum is a charming local museum that showcases the history, art, and culture of the Ojai Valley. Housed in a historic church listed on the National Register of Historic Buildings, the museum features permanent history exhibitions and rotates larger exhibits three times a year, focusing on both contemporary art and in-depth historical topics. Visitors can enjoy a small gift shop with various items and books related to the valley. The museum is family-friendly, with attractions like the Sespe Wilderness diorama and a Chumash Interpretive Garden. The space is clean and quaint, offering a cool retreat from the heat. Guided tours provide further insight into California history and architecture, making it a worthwhile visit for all ages. A small suggested donation enhances the experience.

Small Museum of Ojai, they have AC so it was nice to get out of the heat for a while too. They're very very friendly to our toddler. Quite a small display but they have a larger room with seasonal exhibits
