Bad experience. In Ojai the staff are so rude, they need learning the word PLEASE and how to talk friendly.

To me, Quest represents OUTDATED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND EMPLOYEE TREATMENT. No matter what location you go to, the employees are overworked and I am guessing not also overpaid. Too little employees for how many customers they are serving to get their blood drawn. THEN there's part 2--most of the population Quest serves are ELDERLY and they are MISTREATED. Not by the employees, but by Quest. These poor elderly come in, utterly confused, often commenting on their worries over seeing NO ONE behind the counter. I find myself often walking old people trough how to complete the check in on the screen as they stand there, bewildered. Yes, customers have to rely on other customers here for support. For a giant corporate company that undoubtedly rakes it in, please have higher standards for the future of society.

I have had nothing but good experience, and they do not overbook like some places. Staff is always patient and kind

System to make appointments online doesn't work half the time and if your a walk in you have to wait for hours. Terribly understaffed at Ojai facility. The only time this place runs smoothly is when Keri is here.

Limited open hours and phone appointments do not work for this location. I have to go in make an appointment then go back for appointment. Very inconvenient.

I had my blood drawn at this location, and Carrie was the technician who helped me, and my daughter. Carrie was the most helpful person with a wonderful personality. I just want to thank her for her kindness, God bless you. Best regards Tony Padilla

This place is so unorganized! First...you never get to speak with an actual human being before you arrive. They WILL NOT answer a phone, so appointments are to be made online. I have done this several times since the implementation of this "online appointment" thing and at least four times, I arrive to find they have no appointments scheduled! It's beyond maddening! My advice...if you live in the Ojai Valley, make your appointments in Ventura! It's a shame that I cannot give less than one star! So much time wasted!

They let the machines take over. Hardly any human contact except the one with the needle. Got a big bruise not, going back.

In Ojai, it depends on the day, time and people working at the office; as to wether or not you NEED an appointment. In other words, it depends on the weather. So, you may or may not need an appointment. One time I went in and I was forced to make an appointment and come back. There was no one in the lobby so I was confused. Another time I went in and they said sure, no appointment necessary. Hello? Don't bother trying to make an appointment on the telephone, it doesn't work. So I drove down there, and they said they could take me on Monday morning. If I'm fasting and they don't take me, I'm staying there until they do take me. I'll just keep drinking water...

I had many years of agreeable service and work done at Quest in the past, but it is getting too complicated.. They no longer take walk-in appointments. Today I went over under old knowledge that I might have to wait a bit,, but would be able to accomplish an already postponed blood draw. When I was navigating the machine I stopped where it was requiring me to choose a time. I would be able to schedule a time 2 hours from now (the next available), but didn't have the patience to fast that much longer for blood work. Fortunately our next door hospital has Ojai Lab there now, and I was able to ask my doctor to switch. The Ojai Lab takes walk-ins. There was no indication about no longer taking walk-ins at Quest, just strong suggestions for appointments still. Another issue is a lack of handicapped access for the blood draw at Quest. I took my mom there a few months ago, and there was no way she could climb into their chairs. The rooms and entrances are small. I don't take her there any more. I will now avoid Quest when I can.

It is virtually impossible to reach anyone at Quest for a question. After an endless stream of recorded information you are given the chance to hear it all again but may never, never get a human being. (That said, once one is there, the employees could not be nicer)

The staff at Ojai Quest were incredibly pleasant and patient. I understand the lab sample process can be challenging for customers/patients, but Danielle and the other staff could not have been kinder to all those that I saw and heard, especially those that have fasted and have not had their caffeine. Great job!

This lab doesn't deserve my business and I will never go back as I learned that my labs can be done at Ojai Community Hospital. They say they don't have my paperwork (every time) and my doctor confirms that they sent the request electronically. Today there was another woman who reported this has happened to he repeatedly. What's most frustrating is that they won't pick up the phone. There is not a number you can call to confirm they have your lab orders.
