This branch is the most in-flexible and tough to deal with location. I worked in consumer banking and led products in more than 6,000 branches. Wells Fargo and this location in particular are not customer friendly and I plan to move my business elsewhere asap.

Unbelievably poor service. After my mother died they have been nothing but obstructive in closing her account and safe deposit box. After driving for 7 hours to attend an appointment we'd made with them, they called and cancelled the appointment. Not having the time to drive home (7 hours and back 7 hours) we went in anyway. We had to get and pay our own notary and had to wait 3.5 hours to get into the safe deposit box. They still claim we haven't "closed" the box and are demanding we drive down again or they'll charge us. DO NOT GO TO IF YOU CAN AVOID.

I was going to open an account with this branch for the convenience of making payments to my Wells Fargo Credit Card account. I called just after they opened and let it ring until I got a message saying that "no one is available to answer your call". So I tried two more times and got the same recorded message. I waited until 10:45 and call again. This time someone picked up and just put me on hold with out saying a word. Telephone manners can be taught and this branch is sorely lacking in them. I won't be opening an account there if this is what I can expect from them.

They have a deck full of people, employees and the line weight is at least 15 minutes so if I were you I'd go somewhere else

Wells in Ojai has always had great people working there, but now hardly anyone is working there and the lines are usually long. I mostly use the ATM, but sadly it hasn't been working as reliably as it should. Don't know what's up with this branch and bank but it's going down hill and I'm shopping around for another bank that will earn my trust.

I am giving Wells Fargo one start because there is no place for a zero star. I have been trying to get online service for three weeks. Each person I speak to is "so nice" and they are always very apologetic for the problems the website is causing. Then they refer me to a "specialist" to deal with my particular problem. I answer the same questions, birthdate, last four numbers of social, etc.. But then they have no new information for me and refer me to someone else who asks the same questions with no help whatsoever. Three weeks later and they now referred me back to original tech person who also offers apologies and no help. I am taking my money out of this bank.

My experience at this Ojai Branch with a teller by the name of Anabell was horrible and she was rude and had an attitude. This one time I was at the branch and I saw her giving attitude to some of the other bank tellers. She is probably having a bad day or maybe she should just quit and get a different job. I am very disappointed with my experience there, it has not been the first time nor the second time that particular teller has given attitude. All the times I go to cash my check and I am standing in those long lines and I see her giving attitude to most of the customers.

Wells Fargo Bank paid a billion dollars in fines for stealing from the public by committing fraud!! I actually like the people at the local Ojai bank. They have always been good to me. But speaking generally about Wells Fargo, you'd be better off going somewhere else. This bank lives for you to be one day late on any kind of a payment due. They will tack on fees every chance they get. I firmly believe that there is a directive from the top to get clients to incur as many possible fees as they can. This is a whole business strategy for this company. So buyer beware! If you bank with these people, pay close attention to your due date because if you don't, You will see hundreds of dollars in fees coming out of your account and they will make no exceptions no matter what. It took them seven months to change the due date on my car loan. When I complained about the late fees, they transferred me to a real j*** off who wouldn't budge and made excuses and tried to blame the state of California for the fees! This bank really sucks.

The only experience I have had with Wells since moving here recently is: (a) Great! They had a notary! (b) Bad! They couldn't see me for 3 days even though I only had 2 papers to sign and notarize (c) Great! I found somebody else to do it for me, (Ojai Business Center) but (d) Bad! Could not speak to a real person on the phone to cancel my appointment. Even a Wells phone bank live person at a different location in the US could not get anything but a recording.

I feel it's always good to give credit where it's due, and my visit at this branch was beyond exceptional. Operators via phone try to upgrade a secondary account every time I call when I would be calling for help just understanding a tranactions or a type of fee. I am not fond of automated systems of any kind and prefer to speak with a human and not a pre recorded call. When I went in the bank I was working with a lovely agent Hilda G. I broke down my issues regarding the details my account. She addressed every question I had in dept with patience. That's what customer service is all about. This beach and Hilda were awesome.
