Old Station Fill Up is a cool, local country store and market right outside Lassen. It sells gas, food, candy, snacks, beer, water, drinks, bait, meat, fishing supplies, baking supplies, and a lot of stuff for camping and RV gear. They have a lot of all kinds of things, carrying just about everything you might need in a pinch. It is a neat and very cool place with friendly staff, frequented by cool people and weary looking backpackers. It can get busy on the weekends. They have restrooms and a pay campsite that looked nice but was kind of expensive. Note that the business hours may vary; a sign says 24-hour gas, but it has been closed overnight in the past. This is a great little store, a special place with near magical local charm, and a welcome sight or looked forward to stop when passing through.

Neat place. We stopped for a bathroom break and some snacks. I assume the people that we got to chatting with were locals when they told us to camp in the pay campsite. It looked nice but it was kind of expensive. We checked out the area more. Very cool place right outside Lassen.
