“I went to Dollar General looking for one thing. Nail glue. While I was looking there was an employee ( and I forgot her name because this happened months ago but Im just now posting) but she was stocking an area near me. She asked if I needed any help so I told her what I was looking for. She looked where it normally is and then checked about 10 totes that were on the floor. Then said let me go check in the back. When she came back to me she said shevhad to ask a manager if she could open new boxes in the back did I want to wait. I said sure. She checked the new boxes but was still unable to find any. I believe customer service IS EVERYTHING. Abd this young lady went above and beyond for me. Besides her great customer service the store was very clean and organized. So for this reason I give Dollar General 5 stars out of 5. Mrs Smiley”

“This is one of the nicest Dollar Trees I have ever visited. The manager is so amazing and helpful. We had a, special request we needed her help with and she was so great to help. My nephew has worked there for a couple of months also and he thinks she is one of his best bosses ever.”
“Such great people who work there. They're all so friendly and helpful. The manager Michelle is just the best. Always greets me with a smile and kind words. I moved here from a few states away about a year ago and I don't really know anyone here so it's always nice to go in the store and be greeted so nicely. I appreciate you all and all your hard work!”
“Always find Great place to find Cards for All occassions. Bonus they are Hallmark cards for $1 or 2 for $1.

“I love this store! Well, I actually just love the employees. I went today tans when I went to swipe my card, it wouldn’t work. It asked for me to enter the number. I could not read it. Elizabeth was so nice! She said “I’ve got you!” , she punched in the numbers. She went above and beyond! There’s also an amazing girl that works there with long brown hair, wears it in a ponytail, can’t remember her name, but she’s also so sweet! Employees rock here! The store itself… well we all know they need to stop putting stock in the aisles!”

“The McGowan Dollar General used to be an embarrassment. Having this store first thing off the freeway was tragic. But all that has changed! No longer are the shelves half full and the aisles blocked by unpacked product! No longer is the parking lot and landscaping full of weeds and garbage! The shaved ice vendor is still in the parking lot, her coconut cream is the best! But going inside for cash made me want to take a shower. Now the store looks good on the neighborhood! Why it took so long to get good management when the store was so very busy we may never know. But, like so many DG's, it now makes a profound and positive impact on an underrepresented community. And, now there's a taco vendor in the parking lot too! Woohoo! Tacos!”
