“A Spicy Start to the Day at Crest Cafe & CateringCrest Cafe & Catering turned a regular morning into an unexpectedly delightful experience. In need of a quick breakfast fix, I swung by this cozy spot for a breakfast burrito and a drink with a personal twist – the "Angry Dirty Chai Tea Latte," a concoction I dreamed up back in Tucson.Initially met with a puzzled look from the barista, my request for a dirty chai latte spiked with cayenne pepper (to add that 'angry' kick) soon turned into an exciting challenge for her. She crafted the drink with enthusiasm, and the result? A perfectly spicy, warming beverage that hit all the right notes. The breakfast burrito was another win – packed with flavor and just the right amount of comfort to start the day. It's these little culinary victories that make Crest Cafe & Catering a go-to place for anyone in need of a quick, satisfying bite."For a fiery twist on your morning routine, Crest Cafe & Catering serves up the heat!"”

“Best spot in Tahoe City. A true locals spot, never the same beer on tap. They have all the best, newest, and rarest beers. Bartender Ryan helped me out and was awesome.”

“Came in for a nice bottle of wine for dinner, and was not disappointed. Since this one's off the beaten path, you won't get the overwhelming traffic of the main drag. There are selections in here that you won't find anywhere else. The attendant that helped me was friendly, and kept my budget in mind while recommending something perfect for my dinner. I will carve out some more time to do a tasting next time I'mIn town!”

“Nice store with everything being available. Also the store employees are very helpful. We tried their pizza and it was awesome. It was better than all the major pizza stores, so even if you don't want to buy anything, just go there and try their pizza and sandwiches. This store has everything of your needs, pretty much everything. So if you are traveling from South lake Tahoe to North, this is a good place. It's just 25 mins from places like Palisades Tahoe”

“What a wonderful store! Anything you need, they have. Whatever dietary restriction you may have any gluten-free, dairy free, they accommodate an offer options for all. They are very conscientious and thorough in their selections and meet all means! The deli will even make gluten-free sandwiches. What a dream!”

“I could honestly see many folks giving this Safeway one star, but I'm giving it four and I'll two you why: service under pressure. This place gets absolutely bombarded with folks, both tourists and locals all times of the year. It isn't uncommon to struggle to find a parking space, and the lines can become exceedingly long. While I know this can be very frustrating, you also have to understand how hard the people in this store are working to keep everything up and running.”

“Safeway located in Truckee, CA is a good spot to Go if you'll need some grocery's when staying near North side Lake Tahoe area, they mostly have everything you'll need from Vegetable's, Fruits, Water, Adult beverages like Beer, Wine, and Liquor etc and frozen goods like Tv Dinners. One thing that I don't suggest is buying their steaks here it's very high in price (IMO) I wanted to get RIB EYE steaks And it was price so high like two steak slabs for $50-$60 dollars, I'd rather drive up to COSTCO at RENO (30 min drive) and grab their RIB EYE STEAKS there way cheaper and I'd say better quality and quantity. Parking - Don't have too worry about parking lots of parking space so it's a plus (I seen on other Yelp reviews that people had a difficult time with parking space owners who had Big trailers) One thing I wish they could do better is if a staff member could organize the checkout lines with a better System (there's some customers who think their right when forming a ling like ohh line supposedly be form this way that way etc.) LIKE CMON Also don't forget bring your grocery bag if can cause if not then it's 10 cents a bag for your grocery's”
