It's now renamed "everline" . Would never stay here again. Poor accessibility as there are over 50 stairs to the pool and a long walk to the parking lot. (Over 200 yards) service is poor and eating at Sandy's bar was less than acceptable. $24 salad had no seasoning. I'm 78 and recovering from a foot injury so walking to pool was a significant challenge. Most of my friends are not as mobile as I am. Unfortunately, I see this place failing as population ages and needs more amenities. Very overpriced for what they offer. Fond memories of "squaw valley", but staying here was not one of them.

Annual getaway tradition with family and never leave the resort since they have everything here. Summer and winter activities are abound. Family golf and lessons are always fun. Great service and wonderful wine at the Six Grille.

I was walking up the icy stairs to the resort taking extra caution because I was holding a jar full of my homemade seasoned tuna. Then out of no where, a shirtless fat little boy with peanut butter smeared on both nipples, came rolling down the stairs like the goddamn grudge knocking my jar full of homemade seasoned tuna RIGHT OUT OF MY HANDS! In total distraught, I picked up my homemade seasoned tuna and stuffed it into my pockets then made my way into the lobby of the resort for safety. After fighting my way through world war lll, the front desk had the audacity to tell me to EXIT the lobby because my homemade seasoned tuna WAS STINKING UP THE LOBBY. I left and never looked back! I don't need that damn negativity in my life!

What a beautiful stay! We stayed early January 2023 and it was a white heaven. Room was clean and cozy. We loved having the fireplace. The views all around were stunning access to ski right here is amazing!

This review isn't about the resort, but about Squaw Creek Sports, the ski rental and ski valet shop associated with the resort. My family just spent a week there (and a lot of money). My son is an avid skier, and a ski tech who has done ski repair for a local ski shop. We used the ski valet one day...a great service where you leave your skis overnight and pick them up in the morning. My son has Black Crowes...a pricey brand, a couple of years old. When he dropped off the skis one night they were fine. In the morning there was damage to the skis and a split tip that seemed to be the result of dropping them on the hard floor. The split exposed the core and is likely irreparable. The resort and ski shops seem to bring in seasonal workers -- all of them great, friendly kids who likely know little about skiing. While I commend them for providing the opportunity and certainly recognize the challenges around staffing expertise in a super pricey market, the resort had an opportunity to do the right thing and they chose not to. After multiple conversations with multiple people, wrong numbers provided, no one providing their names, a manager on vacation, lots of excuses and denial by folks who weren't involved, we finally used Google to fidn the right person to speak to. The ski shop took zero accountability. They said it was "basic wear and tear." Note the photos included. One ski is basic wear and tear. The other has a split tip. You can see the difference. We are very disappointed that the ski shop wouldn't take accountability and work with us on resolution. I do imagine that any business lost due to a poor Yelp review is likely more expensive than compensation for the damage they did.

I just got back from a 2 night stay at Resort at Squaw Creek. We stayed in a 2 bedroom penthouse suite. We were in room 840 . There was a full kitchen , living room, dining area & a half bath downstairs. There was also a fireplace and stackable washer and dryer. The couch downstairs pulls out to a full bed. Upstairs there was 2 bedrooms . First bedroom had a 2 queens and a full bathroom. Second bedroom had a king a full bathroom. Gorgeous, gorgeous, penthouse!!!! There were windows everywhere and the view was breathtaking!!!! When you walk in there was a window that went from downstairs to upstairs. It was truly magical. Kitchen was nice. Loved the fridge! There was plenty of room for food and drinks. There was a wolf stovetop and oven and microwave. Kitchen was equipped with plates , silverware, toaster, Keurig. There was some cooking utensils. And kitchen had some pots and pans. Gripe's about the kitchen!! For being a wolf stovetop & oven it worked horribly. Oven took forever to heat up and wasn't cooking properly. I put Hashbrowns in for double the time and they were still not cooked all the way I ended up throwing away. One of back burners didn't work . It never got hot. There was no kitchen towels. Pan was horrible even with cooking oil food stuck to it so bad it ruined breakfast. There was no mixing bowls . No cutting boards. No cookie sheet for oven . I really hope they fix the oven stove issue because It took me hours to prepare a simple 20 minute breakfast the first morning. 2nd morning was even worse. We loved the bathrooms upstairs. Especially the separate bath and shower. Was very nice. Water pressure was great and the water got nice and hot!! Loved the lighting in the bathrooms. Also liked that there was a separate bathroom with the toilet. Beds were comfortable. I thought the pillows were uncomfortable but no one else seemed to mind. The resort itself was gorgeous!! There was plenty to do with the kids . A heated pool & hot tub. A hill to go snow sledding. An ice skating rink. Recreation offers daily activities for the kids such as snow sled races, arts and crafts etc. There was also 2 game rooms for the kids . Those rooms just had some board games and checkers. There are fire pit's you can sit around with a drink after a long day playing in the snow. It was nice . The heaters weren't working I asked an employee and he said they had no propane. I ate at Sandy's Pub the first night. It was good. I really love this resort. All the employees were very friendly and helpful. Especially the bellboys and housekeeping.

Resort at Squaw Creek is a lot of fun but everything is so expensive! For the price, I'd expect nicer rooms! I love that they have so many activities and you can stay at the hotel without leaving the premise though! Some amenities:- Depending on the season, they have a private ice rink, ski lift, fishing, etc. (We weren't able to take advantage as it was closed when we went but the activities don't appear to be free.)- A couple of shops that sell jewelry, clothing, souvenirs, etc. (No convenience store)- 6 restaurants on site. (Some were closed due to Covid and the season).- Free shuttle to the town square-type area (10-15 mins ride). This area has restaurants, clothing shops, bars, ski lift, wine bar, etc.The food is decent but expensive.

overall a good and convenient location, we stayed here because the village was full. however, we had some negative experiencespros:- convenient location relative to the slopes, pretty much ski-in/ski out- gorgeous viewscons:- SO many hidden costs. $50 nightly "resort fee". they wouldn't let us borrow a luggage cart, so that we'd have to either schlep everything up (the lodging towers aren't super close to the lobby) or pay for one of their employees to bring it up. we opted to let them do it, but they actually forgot and we had to call a couple times- the parking situation felt really scammy. they really push for you to pay $65/night for valet. your only other option is to pay $25/night to self park in an outdoor parking lot that's a 5 minute walk away from the lobby (probably a 10 minute walk from the rooms). i'd understand this if parking was in high demand in the area, but this resort is literally the only thing around. it's miles away from any alternative parking so theres no other option.- the resort seems like it's trying to be very fancy and upscale, but the workers overall seem a little inexperiencedi'd probably stay here again if they changed their pricing model (for example i'd be fine paying a little more for a room and having free/cheap parking or no resort fees), but otherwise will probably steer clear.

Resort at squaw Creek is an absolutely beautiful resort and a place. I cannot recommend enough from the absolute top tier customer service, the knowledge of the staff and helpfulness to the cleanliness of the resort to the great food options that are there in the things to do. I was absolutely impressed and this is one of my favorite places to go. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit lake Tahoe as they have truly surpassed my expectations, especially as a Hyatt partner. I believe this is a place that should be on your radar when looking to stay in or near lake Tahoe

The place is amazing. lots of things for the kids to play, like sand x tide pool area, and have 2? 3 hottubs, and the big chess, archery, hiking trail.... bike rentals... so much to do. also they have children's shop, athletic shop, so you can but anything if you forget something. small shopping center with mcdnalds and starbucks was about 5-10mins away. 4stars because room cleanliness but otherwise it was amazing!!!

Pros: beautiful spot in Olympic village. Great views of the mountain - absolutely beautiful in the winter. Self parking option decently close (and arguably more convenient) and 1/3 of the price of valet. Nice waiters at the restaurants. Gym was nice. Cons: The resort itself feels a little dated. Food was okay but nothing to rave about. Rooms weren't anything special (suite). Was out of the room all day (0800 - 1700) and room wasn't serviced.Nicer properties in Lake Tahoe with better dining/service. Unlikely to come back.
